JAN “Be It Unto Me According To Thy Word” Day 1: Matthew 1; Luke 1 Read the two chap- ters together as a family. Read Luke 1 first, then Matthew 1. Play Memory with the cards included! If you get a match, talk about what that person did in the scrip- tures you read today. Give each person in the family a worksheet. If you have children that can’t write yet, have them team up with someone who can. Follow the directions on the worksheet as you read together. Remind your family of the Gene- alogy of Jesus that you read in Matthew 1 (Or read it again!) Give each person a Family Tree. They can draw pictures, cut out pictures and glue them, or write down names. Come prepared to share one or two stories of your ancestors that you could teach your family. The movie “Coco” would be a great one to watch tonight! It’s available on Netflix at this time. Follow along in the manual where it says “God’s blessings come in His own time.” Discuss as a family the quote by Elder Holland in this sec- tion.
