TO GET STARTED: 1. Register online at home, or at the library & pick up a packet. 2. Record your reading using trackers. 3. Get a small reward & entries to win cool prizes! T-SHIRT COUPON: Take a t-shirt & the coupon to Chris’ University Spirit where they will print this summer’s design on your shirt for free. Wear shirt to weekly programs to be eligible to enter prize drawings (one per day). INCENTIVES: For every 5 hours read, or read to, receive a food coupon (limit of 10 coupons per child). Exchange reading records at the Children’s Help Desk or volunteer table for food coupons. • For completing 10 hours receive a free BOOK and certificate of achievement at the Awards Ceremony in July. Your name will also be sent to the school principal to notify them of your awesome accomplishment. • For completing 15 hours or more, get entered in a drawing for a gift card provided by Sylvan Learning Center! • For completing 20 hours or more, get entered in a drawing for a classroom visit from Monty Harper! • For completing 30 hours or more, get entered in a drawing for choice of a building set. Winners will be notified by email at the end of the summer program. WEEKLY DRAWING: A weekly drawing will be held at closing on Fridays. All registered summer reading participants are encouraged to visit the library each week to enter the drawing. Winners will be notified by phone each week.
