IDEAS OF TITLE/MASTHEAD FINAL TITLE/MASTHEAD

As I said in my ‘Proposal form and initial ideas’ slideshow, I updated the bottom two potential titles to the potential masthead on the top left as I believed it stood out more which conforms to my target audience. However, I still believed that it needed more work. I added an exclamation mark and incorporated a speaker to it. This adheres to the connotation of the word ‘LOUD’ as an exclamation mark and a speaker implies a loud sound. I also changed the colour of the ‘L’ to a brighter blue colour as I believed that the dark blue and purple colour clashed, whereas the lighter blue complemented the purple. My intention behind the different vibrant colours in the title with purple undertones was to conform to the conception that although ‘Pop’ as a genre can have many different vibes such as influences from Rock to Hip Hop and is constantly evolving (portrayed through different colours), an individual will always be able to distinguish Pop music and it will always have the same basis (portrayed through purple colour in all of the letters and exclamation mark).
