ACTION THRILLER

• Obsession is an Action Thriller

• Action Thriller is produced to keep you on the edge of your seat, which is what Obsession will do with action and crime elements

• It follows the conventions of an Action Thriller by having a semi realistic story line, whilst exploring things such as a psychopath (the detective/father) and weaponry such as guns to keep the audience entertained.

Equilibrium At first we have a detective, living a normal life, with a wife and daughter. He gets assigned a bank robbery case.

Disruption Over the course of three years, the bank robberies are still going on, no one is able to catch these four girls. The detective becomes obsessed and like a psychopath, he becomes detached from his wife and daughter. The finally decide to rob their last bank, which is when the obsessed (now unsabbatical) detective discovers them and aims to shoot them due to his mental state, he hits his target but his target is his daughter.

ResolutionShe is taken to hospital in a coma, she understands that when she gets better, she has to go to prison; the detective rebuilds his life and relationship with his wife and daughter (from prison)
