Siemens loans are available from a variety of different businesses and organisations, whilst all kinds of businesses can potentially qualify for a loan, there is some basic criteria to satisfy:

Credit checks & trading history: Your business must have been trading for at least 36 months, if this is met then financing is offered subject to a normal credit assessment.

Energy saving assessment: An energy saving assessment will be conducted by the Carbon trust Implementation Services to check that the expected CO2 reduction and financial savings over time, match or exceed Energy Efficiency Financing payments.

If you meet these requirements then your business can benefit in a number of ways:

Convenient & Efficient: Your financing application can be quickly arranged by us on your behalf or alternatively you can make the application direct yourself at: www.energyefficiencyfinancing.co.uk. The payment terms can be arranged from 1 to 7 years, or in some cases even longer.

Designed for you – The Siemens financing scheme is designed so that the finance payments are offset against the anticipated energy savings, which means the equipment you are getting installed should be paying for itself. Once all the payments have been made, you should also continue to make savings year on year.

Manage your budget: The payments you make are not subject to any fluctuations in interest rates, which means it is easier for you to manage your budget.

Carbon Trust LoanCarbon trust loans were setup in order to be able to provide businesses in Wales & Northern Ireland a finance options for investing in energy-efficiency and low-carbon equipment. They can provide 0% interest loans to businesses as long as your company is eligible. To qualify for a Carbon Trust loan you must be:

A small or medium size business in Wales. (0% interest loans are not available to large businesses, however they may be eligible for the Carbon Trust implementation and finance services).

Incorporated businesses must have been trading for at least 12 months & Non-incorporated businesses for at least 36 months.

Finance Options How much can be borrowed? Loans are available ranging from £3000 - £100,000. The size of the loan you are able to receive is subject to the projected CO2 savings of a project, which will be assessed by the Carbon Trust. www.carbontrust.org.uk

Which projects qualify?The Carbon Trust can give £1,000 of loan for every 1.5tCO2 saved per annum for a project. A wide variety of project types will be considered, providing they meet the on-site fossil fuel saving requirements.

The solar PV cells consist of thin layers of a semi-conducting material, usually silicon, which generates an electric charge when exposed to direct sunlight.

The greater the intensity of the light, the greater the flow of electricity.

Not only can solar panels reduce your electricity bill by around 50%, lower your carbon footprint and increase your property value, you can even be paid for the electricity you generate. Any electricity that is not consumed can be sold back to the national grid as part of the uK government Feed-In-Tariff.

What the customer wanted:• The largest possible system on their south facing roof.• Did not want the panels to be visible from the front of the house.• Wanted to be able to use the solar energy to heat her hot water supply.

What we did:• Carried out a full survey of the property.• Proposed using black panels so they would be less visible on the roof.• Took advantage of as much roof space as possible and used a higher watt panel to get a bigger system size.

What we delivered:

• 3.2kW system, on the south facing roof.• Kept the period property feel to the property.• Black panels to reduce the visual impact of the system. • Installed an Immersun unit which uses any left over electricity from the panels to heat the hot water.




Commercial Solar PV

You will receive payments from the government Feed-in-tariff (FIT) scheme based on the amount of energy your system produces

Solar Farms are the large-scale application of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) installations used to generate electricity.They cover large areas of land (between 1 and 100 acres) and generate electricity locally and feed into the local electricity grid using the sun’s energy to generate electricity on bright cloudy days as well as in direct sunlight.

The panels on a solar farm give power into the utility grid, meaning it can be used by local businesses and consumers during the day. As a result, considerably less fossil fuels are burned and less CO2 is produced.

Maintenance of solar farms are low and can provide a stable source of income for the farm owner.

Animals are still able to graze between the rows of panels and solar farms have even been found to support biodiversity as small animals and birds can gain access to the undisturbed land.

What is Renewable Heat Incentive?The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), launched in April 2014, is a scheme which financially rewards people who use renewable energy to heat their buildings.

The overall aim of the scheme is to help the UK further achieve its target of producing 12% of its heat from renewable sources by 2020.

GROuND SOuRCE HEAT PuMPS:

At Titanium Home & Energy, we provide Ground Source Heat Pumps suitable for a variety of properties.

Ground Source Heat Pumps use a loop of pipes buried under the ground in your garden to extract heat from the ground which can then be used to heat your home and water.

A mix of water and anti-freeze are circulated around the pipes to absorb the heat from the ground, passing through a heat exchanger to then work with your heating and water.

AIR SOuRCE HEAT PuMPS:

Using the energy and heat of the air around us, Air Source Heat Pump systems can efficiently heat your home and hot water.

A renewable and sustainable energy source, Air Source Heat Pump systems are cost-effective, highly efficient and require very little maintenance once installed. Even when it’s cold outside, the pump can still absorb heat from the air!

An Air Source Heat Pump could reduce your energy costs by up to 40%. We have an experienced in-house installation team that will be able to help you throughout the installation process of your Air Source Heat Pump.

BIOMASS BOILERS:

Biomass Boilers are wood fuelled heating systems which burn wood pellets, chips or logs to heat your home and water.

Biomass Boilers provide a sustainable supply of energy as the carbon dioxide emitted when the wood is burned will be the same amount that was absorbed by the plant while it was growing.

Furthermore, burning wood can also be a great way to dispose of waste that may otherwise be sent to a landfill site.

SOLAR THERMAL:

Solar thermal water heating systems use the heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water.

Solar thermal water heating systems use solar panels and collectors fitted to your roof.

These collect heat from the sun and use it to heat up the water which is stored in the hot water cylinder.
