Dear Friends,

We all know that May is an exciting month for IESA. IESA hosts India’s premier platform for Exhibition, Event, Decoration & Retail Design Industry - INDIA EXPO SHOP 2018. We are looking forward to welcome all the exhibitors, guests, visitors and our internation-al friends and participants at IES 2018 at Bombay

Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. This year, more than 200 participants and around 3,000 visitors are expected. This will be a phenomenal business development opportunity that should be encashed by one and all.

We will be launching ‘IESA Handbook 2018’ which will serve as a ready reckoner for planning and executing any type of events in future. This handbook will contain details of the members of IESA and will bring additional business to our members.

IESA will hold its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai during IES 2018. An update report on AGM will be shared in our next issue. As far as membership drive is concerned, April too has been a very encouraging month. 50 plus new members have joined the family of IESA. I extend a very warm welcome to all of them. I also thank Mr. Namdhari, Mr. Ajit Thakkar, Mr. Surinder Vasisht , Mr. Gautam and, Mr. Zakir Hussain for spearheading this month’s membership drive. All new member’s details are available on pages 10 to 11 of this newsletter.

Promotional events for India Expo Shop 2018 were conducted in Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad in April and response received for IES was very encouraging. A special thanks to Mr. Vikas Kale from Pune, Jatin bhai, Sural bhai and Mr. Manish Gandhi from Ahmedabad for all their support and extraordinary efforts in arranging meetings.

AHMEDABAD DECORATORS, HIRERS AND ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATION (DECORISE) – SUPPORTING ASSOCIATION OF INDIA EXPO SHOP 2018

The Ahmedabad Decorators, Hirers and Electrical Association is established since 1964, today it is one of the most reputed association across the country with more than 2000 members. The association has always worked for the goodwill of the trade and its members.

DECORISE is the brainchild of the associa-tion and it was instrumental in expanding the horizons of the traders involved in the trade and members got better options of the latest products available in the industry.

The MMRDA grounds in BKC was the venue for Mahamelawa - The Foundation Day Celebration of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Jess Ideas was involved since the embryon-ic stage of the event. From creating venue layouts to ideating, executing seating plans and element lists; all aspects to ensure a successful event were in the scope of Jess Ide-as’s work. For this project, Jess Ideas played the role of the event management company and the venue construction company simultaneously.

In charge of the event management, Jess Ideas was entrusted with responsibili-ties that included, LED screens, sound, lights, housekeeping, security, civil construction and elec-trical power. Dignitaries including Maharashtra Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, BJP Party President Shri Amit Shah, Road Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Railways Minister Shri Piyush Goel, graced the event with their presence. VIP lounges were constructed for them.

A total area of 1,80,000 sq/m was built in a span of 8 days .This was the first time that every single MMRDA ground in Mumbai ranging from ground number 1 to 22 was re-served and constructed for a single event. The construction included chair seating of 2,00,000 people, 20,000 running metres of barricading, 2 km of

masked tin barricading, 60 sounds stacks and 45 LED platforms.

India Expo Shop organized by IESA (Indian Exhibitions, Conferences & Events Ser-vices Association) is a unique platform showcasing the exhibitions, conference & event service providers from across India & the Globe.

The IES expo is being conducted with the prime objective to provide an opportunity for organizers, event managers, service providers and such decision makers to interact with their service partners from all over India (existing & new) to get insights into the latest trends, technolo-gy and value-added services for the en-hancements of their Expos, Conventions & Events. India Expo Shop 2018 will serve as the one-stop-shop for all the event needs of event management & trade event organizing companies.

The first two editions 2016 & 2017 of IES were held at the India Expo Mart Centre (IEML), Greater Noida, U.P. and both the Expos were a grand success. The third edition of India Expo Shop- one-of-its kind of Expo & Conference sched-uled to held on 15th to 18th May 2018 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center, Mumbai, India.

IES 2018 with 7000 sq.mt. exhibition space and 60 % participation from IESA Members and 30% from other Indian Companies and 10% of International companies from exhibitions industry. The expo is expecting over 3000 plus visitors from all sectors of the exhibition industry globally.

India Expo Shop is the best place for the Organizers, Event Managers, Corporate Communication & Marketing Managers, as well Admin & Operations Managers & Procurement Teams to meet, interact, learn about the latest trends & innova-tions to strengthen existing vendor bonds and establish new service partners.

Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs is an association of the leading ex-hibition orga-nizers; venues and trade show related com-

panies from Russia, it represents exhibition companies from Moldo-va and Ukraine as well. Founded in 1991 the Union became a UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry - member in 1994.Today RUEF unites 84 member

To promote INDIA EXPO SHOP 2018, a lunchon meeting was arranged at Aan-gan Banquet, Satellite, Ahmedabad on 27th April, 2018 by Mr. Sural Dhebar from Profiles and his team. They made all the arrangements on behalf of IESA to make the Expo Shop 2018 a great success.. It was attended by 30 people, including IESA Members & Guests.Mr. H K Bhattad, President, IESA and Mr. Surinder Vasisht, General Secre-tary, IESA, also attended the meeting to boost the enthusiasm of Gujarat zone. Also the major contribution to the suc-

companies representing all federal districts of the Russian Federation. The Union represents 800 exhibi-tion projects in over 40 cities in-volving nearly 100 thousand par-ticipants from 120 countries and 2 mln. sqm of net exhibition space rented (annually).RUEF mission:• Assists national producers in

The IESA Chennai chapter organ-ised it’s monthly meeting on 1st May, 2018 at Haddows Club, Chen-nai.The meeting was attended by 30 members. Keeping punctuali-ty as a tradition the meeting kick started at sharp 6:30pm with Mr. Narendra Singh doing a small in-teractive game which weaved into his inspiring talk on setting goals in life. Mr. Narendra Singh brought in his real life situation and how goal setting was crucial in helping him bounce back.It was interesting to note members taking notes of the 12 points in goal setting.
