SPF = Sun Protection Factor

•Say you normally burn in 5 minutes outside with sunscreen…

•A sunscreen with SPF 30 would protect you for 30 x 5 minutes = 150 minutes or

2 ½ hours.

•Your sunscreen should say “BROAD SPECTRUM” to get best protection.
