For several years, Thyregod has provided Danish and international customers with a large variety of trailers. We always work in close contact with the enduser in order to ensure developing top-grade products.
GSV silage trailer is developed to meet the de-mand for high capacity especially when using self-propelled chopper. The trailer has a capacity of 40 m3.
As standard the trailer is supplied with 600/55-22,5 Vredestein Flotation +, which in most cases is ideal. Upon request 700/45—22.5 can be fitted.
Unloading is done with 2 Kohlswa 74 chains. The chain is driven hydraulically by the central gearbox. This position halves the load of the axle.
As standard the trailer is fitted with a sprung drawbar and hydraulic jack
GSV 40 has a bogie arrangement with spring suspension and hydraulic brakes. As standard the trailer is supplied with a ’swivel’ rear axle. An option is to have the trailer sup-plied with tracking steering.
The trailer has been designed using our well-known pressed chassis section using 6 mm high quality steel. The frame is also constructed using high quality steel.
GSV 40 is equipped with a strong bumper. The locking bolts can be removed when working in the field. This allows the bumper to swing freely in and out.
A 80 mm conic trailer body ensures that unloa-ding is trouble free. Unloading speed depends on the amount of oil that is supplied from the tractor and the struc-ture of the material: At 80 litre. c 51 seconds At 100 litre c 41 seconds As standard, the trailer is provided with lights inside as well as on the back of the trailer. .
