Transcript of Tigg MGP Remediation Solutions
During the removal of coal-tar impacted soil, environmental enclosure structures safeguard
the public from stray odors, air-borne contaminants and the site of workers in moon suits.
Connecting TIGG’s NIXTOX systems to the enclosure helps you meet your discharge requirements and protects workers inside the structure.
Our systems include activated carbon box adsorbers, air handlers, no-loss stacks and an interconnecting duct.
TIGG has a large supply of in-stock systems that can handle flows from 50 to 20,000 cfm available for sale or rent.
Multiple filtration systems can be combined to produce higher flow rates. All of our systems are modular and easy to install.
TIGG can handle the spent carbon or provide media exchange services if necessary.

MGP Site Groundwater Remediation
During the cleanup of former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites, soil contaminated with various
pollutants including PAHs, hydrocarbons, phenols, BTEX and cyanide mixes with groundwater.
Not only does TIGG provide integrated systems for air purification, we also offer complete groundwater treatment systems.
After determining what contaminants are in the groundwater at your MGP site, TIGG can supply a treatment train to meet your discharge requirements.
Our standard water purification systems handle 50 to 750 gpm. TIGG’s systems can be piped in parallel for higher flows rates. Also, we can custom design equipment for your specific needs.
A typical groundwater remediation system may consist of several components including an oil/water separator, particulate filters, oil absorption vessel, activated carbon filters, pumps, pipe racks and hoses.
With more than 35 years of experience providing air and water purification equipment to remediation firms across the country, TIGG is recognized as an industry expert. We take a comprehensive approach to the way we help you meet your unique needs.
TIGG has designed the Adsorption Predictive Technique (APT) model to determine the effectiveness and the activated carbon usage rate for your specific air or water purification application. This will help determine the amount of equipment needed and the operating costs associated with your project. All of our systems are convenient and easy to install at your site.
