MGP Site Groundwater Remediation

During the cleanup of former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites, soil contaminated with various

pollutants including PAHs, hydrocarbons, phenols, BTEX and cyanide mixes with groundwater.

Not only does TIGG provide integrated systems for air purification, we also offer complete groundwater treatment systems.

After determining what contaminants are in the groundwater at your MGP site, TIGG can supply a treatment train to meet your discharge requirements.

Our standard water purification systems handle 50 to 750 gpm. TIGG’s systems can be piped in parallel for higher flows rates. Also, we can custom design equipment for your specific needs.

A typical groundwater remediation system may consist of several components including an oil/water separator, particulate filters, oil absorption vessel, activated carbon filters, pumps, pipe racks and hoses.

With more than 35 years of experience providing air and water purification equipment to remediation firms across the country, TIGG is recognized as an industry expert. We take a comprehensive approach to the way we help you meet your unique needs.

TIGG has designed the Adsorption Predictive Technique (APT) model to determine the effectiveness and the activated carbon usage rate for your specific air or water purification application. This will help determine the amount of equipment needed and the operating costs associated with your project. All of our systems are convenient and easy to install at your site.
