DETAILED PROGRAMME

DAY 01 DELHI – SAWAI MADHOPUR BY TRAIN

SAWAI MADHOPUR – RANTHAMBORE BY SURFACE

After breakfast you will take train to Sawai Madhopur (320 KMS /6 Hours)

Arrive at Sawai Madhopur & get a transfer to Ranthambore on a Jeep or Canter (06 Kms/10 Mins).

Upon arrival at Ranthambore proceed to check-in to your hotel.

Near the township of Sawai Madhopur, in the state of Rajasthan, Ranthambore

National Park is an outstanding example of Project Tiger’s efforts at conservation

in the country. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private

grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. As a result of the stringent efforts in

conservation, tigers, the prime assets of the Park, have become more and more

active during the day. More than in any other park or sanctuary in India, tigers are

easily spotted here in daylight. It is very easy to chance upon a tiger lolling around

lazily in the sun, or feverishly hunting down sambhar around the lakes. Apart from

tigers, you will come across a few panthers too. The other permanent residents of

the park include marsh crocodiles, hyenas, jungle cats and sloth bears. Sambars

are found in abundance all over the area, the prime target of all predators. Chital,

nilgai and chinkara are the other inhabitants of the region. The avian population

comprises of black storks, quails, Bonelli’s eagles, spur fowls, crested serpent

eagles and painted storks.

DAY 02 RANTHAMBORE

Today early morning you will proceed to Jungle for a game-

viewing safari. Ranthambore is possibly the best place to see tiger

in the wild and in the open. Other predators in the park are

leopard, marsh-crocodile, jungle cat and hyena. The park also has

a large population of jackal, sambar, chital and Nilgiri.

Ranthambore has sounders of wild boar; Indian hare and

mongoose are sometimes seen

on the edge of the water. The

park also has abundant bird life

including Bonelli's eagle, the

crested eagle, Great Indian

horned owl, gray partridge,

painted partridge and tree pie paradise. The flycatcher, pheasant-tailed jacana,

painted stork, spoonbill, white-necked stork and spur-fowl are also all found here.

Return back to your hotel for the breakfast. Rest of the morning is at leisure.

After buffet lunch, you will be yet again driven to the National Park for another

game viewing safari. Experience the sunset along with another chance to view the

tiger and other amazing wildlife.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03 RANTHAMBORE – SAWAI MADHOPUR BY SURFACE

SAWAI MADHOPUR – DELHI BY TRAIN

After buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Sawai Madhopur railway station to board train for

Delhi.

Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to airport to board your flight for onward destination or transfer to your

hotel/conference venue to attend the conference.
