Monday: Have a look at the example sentences below, then have a go at writing your own sentences about an

eagle, snail and cat using describing words before the noun and using ‘that’ to create a relative clause.

Tuesday: Can you use the example fronted adverbials to write your own sentences? Have a look at the video link to

remind yourself what a fronted adverbial is.

Wednesday: Let’s have a look at a box plan of what happens in the story…

Your task today is to change the King or Queen into your own character. You can use pencils and coloured pencils

to draw your character into your workbook or create a model of your character! Have a look at the example ideas

to help you:

Thursday: Today we’re going to plan our own story! Below are two examples of story plans. One is very similar to the

original story and one has more differences. When you read them think about whether you want yours to be similar

or more different.
