Mother Nature is a great teacher and getting kids outside to learn and play is good for their brains and their bodies.

A.W.O.L Bushcraft Skills Throughout the programme our leaders will introduce the students to

a number of new skills:

• Adventure Trekking• Map Reading and Navigation• Camp Craft Skills, including optional wild camp experience• Kayaking / Canoeing• Tree Climbing and Abseiling• Orienteering• Mountain Rescue Scenarios• Bushcraft• The Country Code• Team Challenges and Activities• Fire Lighting• Shelter Building• Animal Tracking

Getting kids out in nature is more essential today given that children are spending nearly 8 hours a day using

entertainment media and only 6 percent of children ages 9-13 play outside on their own

“A.W.O.L Adventure” believes the Forest benefits all age groups including adults. We can run sessions for Community Groups, Birthday Party’s, College Students and work colleagues. The session will help individuals self esteem and develops team working skills.
