Keywords meet quirky. The way one should write for the web: using keywords appropriately while keeping the copy relevant and quirky.

Keywirky

A scripting language that is able to perform actions without requiring full-page refreshes. It’s used for tagging in web analytics and animation.

JavaScript

A word that a page is being optimized for in a search engine. Also used to refer to the words used by a searcher on a search engine.

Keyword

A programming language that allows multifaceted, animated customer applications to be written and then accessed from a user’s web browser.

Java

Repeating keywords/phrases over and over in the hopes of improving the page’s ranking. Search engines penalize sites heavily for keyword stuffing.

Keyword Stuffing

Two or more words combined to form a search term. It is usually better to optimize for a phrase rather than a single word because more searches will scan for a phrase rather than just a word.

Keyword Phrase

Where the keywords/phrases that are targeted by your SEO efforts rank in the search engines – if your targeted terms do not appear on the first three pages, start worrying!

Keyword Rankings

The number of times a keyword/phrase appears on a web page relative to the number of words on the page. The higher the better – but not too high. You don’t want to be penalized for keyword stuffing.
