This holds true for connection to all types ofcomputers and instruments having digital outputs.The Facit 4070 incorporates the required drive electro­nics. moreover, it is provided with a cable harness andspace for an extra printed circuit electronics board ­and the power supply is dimensioned to drive this extraboard. The punch is designed to accept a wide range ofinput signaileveis, including IC leveis, and there is abuilt-in buffer store that simplifies timing adaptation.

All table-top models of the Facit 4070 can be equipped with anadapter, Facit 4017 for fan-folded tape handling. It is easily fittedwithout modifications by hanging it on the left side of the punch,where it is locked, using two handles. The adapter can accommodateup to 60 metres of fan-folded tape with an inter-fold distance of216 mm (81/2").
