Seeds to Branches Meetings: The Peace
Board of Directors and other congregation
leaders have set the following informational

Seeds to Branches school expansion plan:
Saturday, October 29, at 5:30pm in the
Peace School cafeteria, and Sunday, October
30, at 10:15am in the Peace Church gym.
These meetings will be held ahead of the
November 1 Congregational Gathering
(6:30pm at the school) to provide updated
information about Seeds to Branches, the

Center to include infant and toddler care. The

expansion plan, building renderings and more.
All are encouraged to attend.

of not only our staff and members, but of the
children here at school, please do not prop
open any of the doors throughout the church
building. Thank you for your understanding
and cooperation.
New Church Directory: Have you signed up
for your new church directory photo? Our

Women in Mission is leading an effort to help
LCMS seminary students and their families.
On October 23 and October 30, monetary
donations will be accepted at the Peace Scrip
table between the two Sunday morning
services. The goal is to purchase Walmart gift
cards through the Scrip program (which
benefits Peace school) to support the food
bank for our LCMS seminary students and
their families in St. Louis and Fort Wayne. Any
amount is welcome, and receipts will be
provided for those who desire one.
Scouts Popcorn: Peace Cub Scout
Camden Richardson will be selling Scout
popcorn on Sunday, October 23, between the
9am and 11:15am services at the church.
Christmas in October: The Community
Village is Peace School’s mission project this
year. Donations are sought this month to help
residents decorate the facility for Christmas.
Because of fire code, specific items will be
collected this month: strings of lights, table
centerpieces (wood or glass only), money for
certified trees, Christmas wrapping paper,
bows, tape, cards and postage stamps,
nativity sets (wood or glass only), holiday
chocolates (regular and sugar-free) and
Christmas CDs. Drop off your items at Peace
School or in the donation bin in the church
basement Donation Center.
Eight-Grade Fundraiser: The Peace School
eighth-grade class is selling jewelry between
the 9am and 11:15am Sunday services to
benefit the class trip to Washington, D.C.
Please visit the table in the church gym, or
contact any Peace eighth-grader or parent.
Helping Military: Aaron’s Gifts from Home
will be packing Christmas boxes to send to
deployed soldiers, so donations are sought by
November 13. Suggested donations
include: Beef jerky/Slim Jims, Spam, canned
fruit, chili or beef stew, tuna packets, ramen
noodles, Pop Tarts, hot cocoa mix, individual
coffee packets, drink mixes, hand warmers,
baby wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes,
deodorant, sanitary napkins, floss, books,
puzzle books, DVDs, CDs and dice. All
hygiene items should be travel size. If you feel
moved to give toward this project, a donation
box is located in the church basement
Donation Center. Thank you for supporting
our troops who have to be away from home
for Christmas. Details: Jessica Beadle,
