2. Adjust your pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer to the correct ranges (these can be found on pages 10 - 11 of this guide).

3. Add SilkBalance to your spa: - SilkBalance Liquid add 4oz weekly. - SilkBalance Gems – add 1 Gem weekly into the filter compartment.

Important Tips: - Always add SilkBalance on the same day every week. - Always maintain sanitizer in the reccomended range.

SILKBALANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME


If you have been using your spa for some time and are now going to enjoy all of the benefits of SilkBalance, the important first step is to properly clean your plumbing lines of BioFilm, sludge and build-up trapped in places that you cannot see.

Follow these simple steps to switch to SilkBalance:1. Remove all filters and any ancillary items such as a Salt Cell.

This is a good time to clean and rinse your filters.

2. Pour entire bottle of Clean start directly into the water.

3. Run all jets on high for 30 mins. Most effective when water is above 90 degrees.

4. Drain all water from spa, flush plumbing lines by putting a hose in the top jet. Rinse/wipe shell of any residue.

5. Refill spa with clean water. Reinstall filters and ancillary items.

6. Adjust water chemistry (see page 10 - 11 for recomended ranges).

7. Add SilkBalance to your spa water (see page 4).

Shock Gems by SilkBalance is a non-chlorine shock oxidizer in convenient pre-measured single-dose gems. Shock Gems will eliminate odors and assist in the reduction of organic contaminants and maintain clear water.

1. Toss One Gem in for 1-2 people, Two Gems for 3 or more people into the filter compartment after every use.

2. Run jets on high, Shock Gems will dissolve quickly.

CLEAN START

EVERY DRAIN & REFILLClean Start by SilkBalance is essential to cleaning and removing organic deposits and BioFilm from your spa plumbing lines.
