We orig- inally moved to The Boulders in Scottsdale. As the area’s growth exploded, so did its congestion and pollution. “Stone Canyon was getting a lot of national press [its Jay Morrish course has appeared in Golf Digest’s rankings of ‘America’s 100 Greatest Courses’] so the two of us decided to take a tour. It was love at first sight. The only time I fell in love quicker was with Anne, 50 years ago! “All on-course elements blend together to create an out of the ordinary experience. Conditioning, playability, and the rugged topography combine to make Stone Canyon the finest in the Desert Southwest. It didn’t surprise me that Jay Morrish referred to it as ‘the most remarkable desert site I’ve ever seen.
