Itinerary
Day 1: Meet at the front door of Mohawk College
Fennell Campus and travel In style aboard our
deluxe highway motor coach all the way to The Big
Apple . After checking into the historical Waldorf
Astoria Hotel we will all have some diner at
Lombardi's pizza, and the rest of the night is yours
to explore the city.
Day 2: Do you watch TV, or love movies? Well, lets
go down memory lane for a look at some of your
favorites right now. Leaving at 11:00 AM, enjoy a
3.5 hour guided bus tour of non stop fun. This
afternoon “Meet me at the top of the Empire State
Building.” Climb to the top of the quarter mile high
building that stands in the core of Manhattan and
get a view that you could never believe.
Day 3: Lions, Tigers, and Bears, Oh My! Step
through the front doors of the Central Park Zoo,
and see all your favourite animals up close in
simulated habitats. Attend the famous feeding of
the seals, or the 4-D theater to watch an adventure
of Manny the Mammoth and his gang of misfits.
This evening we shall go for dinner at the Heartland
Brewery, and then you may have the rest of the
night to have your own New York adventure.
New York City
Originating from the front doors of the Fennel
campus of Mohawk College Hamilton Ontario, you
will travel by Coach to your hotel in New York City,
and begin your experience in “the city that never
sleeps”. Known for the movies and television
shows that are filmed there, many people go to
live the life and adventures of well-known
television characters such as Carrie Bradshaw of
Sex in the City, or Jerry Seinfeld and his friends
from Seinfeld. Also known for its Broadway
musicals and plays, it is where the others come to
follow their dreams of being on a Broadway stage.
Stay in a world famous hotel, and shop in some of
the most extravagant stores. The city is covered
in attractions for all ages and interests. From the
ones who come dreaming of stardom to the ones
who just need an escape from reality this
beautiful city is perfect for Graduates.
Day 4: Enter the location for “Night at the Museum”. At
the Natural History Museum there is something for
everyone within the 1.600 square feet and 45 permanent
exhibits. From young to old you are guaranteed to find
something to fit your interest. This evening take in the city
at your leisure during free time.
Day 5: Come One, Come All, and view the unforgettable
experience that is Coney Island. With its freak shows,
eccentric characters, and feats of daring it has been a
must see attraction to all visitors to New York City. Later
that evening take a ferry to Staten Island to see Lady
Liberty.
Day 6. “All Aboard!” Lets go tour Grand Central Station
the location for many movies, and television shows, its
history speaks for itself. Even if you don’t know anything
about New York City, you will have heard about the
glorious shops and boutiques on Fifth Avenue. Next Let's
rub shoulders with Manhattan's “fashionistas” and visit
glorious 5th Ave. Window shopping or buying the real
brand name souvenirs is sure to make designer memories
for you. After shopping lets have dinner at Planet
Hollywood.
Day 7: Grab your camera’s and walk the red carpet with
the greats at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Then you
have the rest of the day for free time.
Day 8: Our tour has come to an end today, and it’s time to
get back onto the motor coach. It will come in a full circle
when you will be dropped back off at the Front doors of
Mohawk College Fennell Campus.
Included in this package is your transportation,
seven nights accommodation, six breakfasts, three
dinners, and all entrance fees to attractions as listed.
