Mount Tampora erupted on April 5, 1815. A young 10 year old boy lived to tell the tale, “10 year old John Hoistions stared out his winow in shock.” this story follows a young boy and his family through this very devastating event. People on the island were the volcano erupted were isolated from the rest of the world, so all the animals and people died. It is very hard to believe that such a devastating
