Hi! My name is Charlotte Wade, and I am the new Higher Education Lead Student Representative for Bridgwater College.

I am studying BSc (Hons) Applied Animal Management at Cannington Centre and I am also a residential student. I am really passionate about my new role as Lead Rep and I am really interested in developing more social activities aimed specifically for HE students. It is my role to give more focus to the student voice and I would like really like to hear the opinions of HE students across the centres. It is my aim to set up a regular period that I will be present both at Bath Road HE Study Room and the Cannington LRC to meet with students to hear their views, particularly in regards to ideas for social events and improving the feel of the HE community within the College.

We strive to deliver and add value to the experiences of all our HE students. We obtain feedback by gathering information at HE student forums, course programme meetings, student surveys and from

our Lead and Course Student Representatives.

We value the input of our students to help shape the HE environment we provide. Your suggestions and ideas are always taken into consideration and every effort is made to ensure they are followed

through. Below are comments we’ve received from HE students and responses to how we have addressed them.

The HE team is looking into the next induction and enrolment

and will listen to feedback provided by students.

The Higher Education Team with the Student Liaison Team at
