Q&A WITH PASTOR continued... Question: What does “Not Equal Gifts, but EqualCommitment mean?Answer: We won’t all give the same amount in dollars, but we should all be giving with the same amount of commitment.

Question: What if I feel I’m giving as much as I can right now? Answer: That’s between you and God. If you’re doing the most that you feel you should be doing, we’re not going to ask you to give compulsively. If you can’t hon-estly give cheerfully from your heart, then do not give.

Question: Why do I have to sign a card?Answer: Simply as a statement of your faith. It is a sign of your commitment. We want you to make a solid decision you can write down as an agreement be-tween you and God. It’s binding only between you and the Lord. We want you to get serious with us about securing the purchase of this building. Ask the Lord, “Is this worth it?” And if He says it is, then God will supply as we all obey.

Our Potential As Life Christian Church contin-ues to grow and involve more people, our potential grows with each person as well. This is true both in service and financially. Who will pay for securing the purchase of our building? Ob-viously we must “sow our seed” but as more people are at-tracted and become commit-ted to our church, they too will become “laborers in the field” and their efforts and money will contribute to Life Christian Church’s future growth. What we do today is not only con-tributing to our tomorrows, but it will multiply many times over as others are brought to Christ and become involved in His service.

Question: What about the person who can only give that $1 extra? What is that in relation to $3 million? How can that very real sacrifice for them be of any significance to God and the church?Answer: It’s very significant. The Bible tells us that the amount is absolutely unimportant to God as long as that amount is a real sacrifice and as long as it’s something of value to us. Just like the saying I learned in Bible Col-lege from Dr. George Evans, “God wants your best and your first, not your last and your worst.” You shouldn’t be able to give God something insignif-icant without your heart condemning you anyway. So if the gift represents real sacrifice in your life, then it certainly is very significant both to God and to this campaign.

Question: What is your greatest dream and vision for Life Christian Church?Answer: To fulfill God’s will and preach God’s word in all the world through every medium and format. To pastor the west coast, plant churches and es-tablish bible schools that will raise up leaders and who will take the Kingdom of God into all the world.

By raising $1 million, we will save almost $1 million in interest alone over the next 20 years.

By raising $2 million, we will save more than $2 million in interest over the next 20 years.

By raising $3 million, we will save almost $3 million in interest over the next 20 years.

Think of it! Between $1 and $3 million dollars will go directly to the work of Life Christian Church rather than going to the bank for interest pay-ments. We can use that money pro-ductively for the work of Christ, rather than simply paying it in interest. But our success in using God’s money wisely and productively depends on YOU. What is your commitment? Is the personal sacrifice worth it? Many people who need to be ministered to through this ministry are depend-ing on you to provide the way.

We recognize that the real meaning and importance of Life Christian Church is not a building, but rather our ministry. It is, however, a reality that our need to secure this beautiful 15 acre property on 1602 S. El Camino Real where we now reside as our own is of utmost importance at this time in our history.

As part of “Running with the Vision” capital campaign, every family related to Life Christian Church will be asked to consider making an over-and-above your regular tithes and offerings sacrificial commitment to be given over a 3 year period. It is not intended that you would be asked to give a one-time gift to such a large project, but rather that you would trust God to show you what you can give for His service during the next 3 years. This is an opportunity to make an investment over the next 3 years that will live on for years to come - and for eternity.
