Our Prayer Pager Ministry is excited to share a new option that allows you to
send a prayer message (just like a text message) to our recipients with a cell
pager (see * recipients below). The site for this new service is
(www.prayerphone.net). You will have the option to type in your prayer
message or select a verse from the verses listed. You must use our 334 area
code for the message to be sent.
As the Spirit of God prompts you, first PRAY for these individuals, and then
CALL their prayer pager number (or go to www.prayerphone.net) and follow
the prompts. The prayer pager information can also be found on the AUMC
web site at www.aumc.net.

Dear Friends,
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ!
It is a joy to be a part of Auburn UMC in these final moments of Advent and
first days of the Christmas season. The music, missions, pageants, and worship
services have been filled with so many opportunities to worship God and
connect with others. We proclaim with the prophet Isaiah:
For to us a child is born,
To us a son is given,
And the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6)
We pray that the wise counsel of Christ may guide your thoughts, words, and
steps as we journey through these holy days. May the power of God’s love and
grace fill your heart and soul, and may you experience the parental embrace of
God’s love for you and all humanity as we look to Christ as the source of our
hope, peace, joy, and love. Merry Christmas,
Cory and Charles

Handyman Ministry for Seniors
The Jubilee group is exploring the possibility of starting a ministry
to help seniors with needs around the house. Many seniors don’t
feel comfortable getting on ladders to change light bulbs or replace
batteries in smoke alarms etc. The team members would work
together in groups of 2 to help with small projects around the
house. If this is something that you would be interested in helping
with please call Winsley Bates at 826-8800.
Newcomers and Visitors Are Always Welcome! For more information
contact Winsley Bates at the Jubilee Ministry Office (826-8800,
