We would like to invite teams from all over the world to participate in the “COOLEST” tournament in ASIA, The City of Angels Ice Hockey Old Timer’s Cup. The tournament will be held March 27th – March 30th , 2019 at Central Grand Rama IX.

Ø  Each team will be allowed one underage player. They must be 30 years or older for the +35 Divisions & + 35 for the + 40 divisions. The same rules apply for the goalie. Any player under the age limit with a profile on the internet such as a reference http://www.hockeydb.com/ will not be allowed. The tournament director and Referee-in-chief reserve the right to check a player’s age. Any team who is found guilty of breaking the age rule will be disqualified from the tournament playoffs. Eligibility dates: Players must be over the age of 35 & 40 as of March 27th, 2019.

1.  Is the rink a regular size ice surface? A: Yes, the rink is a regular size ice surface. All games will be played 5 on 5 with a goalie. The Rink at Central Rama IX also have glass around the rink! 2. How far is the rink from downtown Bangkok/Hotel area? A: The Rink at Central Rama IX will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic by car or by the MRT line 15 minutes. 3. What is best route to the RINK CENTRAL Grand Rama IX? A: The best route to The Rink Central Rama IX is by the BTS and MRT. If you are staying downtown go to the BTS station Asoke and take the MRT line to Phra Ram 9. The MRT line at Asoke is called Sukhumvit and take this two stops to Phra Rama 9. The mall will be on your right hand side when you exit the station. 4. Are there showers at the ice rink and can we store our gear overnight there? A: Yes there are showers at the ice rink and storage at the rink.

5. Is the ice rinks inside a shopping mall? A : The Rink at Central Rama IX is also inside the mall. The Central mall is a higher end shopping mall with lots of stores and restaurants. 6. When does our team have to arrive to the tournament? A : We would like to see all teams fly in no later than March 27th. Depending on the amount of teams participating this year we have planned to start late Wed evening or early AM Thurs.. 7. When will the schedule of the games and the full details of activities schedule for the tournament become available? A : The schedule will be out by no later than Feb. 20th “If we can confirm all teams early than the schedule will become available at an even earlier date.” All tournament activities will be available prior to March 1st. We will be planning a special post-game party/banquet Saturday Night. You do not want to miss the great nightlife that Bangkok offers so if you need any advice where to go please contact the tournament director/staffs. 8. Will there be water available for our team during the games? A : Yes all water will be provided for the teams throughout the tournament.
