THE ORCHARD THEATRE hosts 350 performances annually, and under HQ Theatres & Hospitality’s management has established itself as one of the South East’s premier venues.

WATFORD COLOSSEUM is situated in the centre of Watford, and is home to some of the best in live entertainment and music.

The Colosseum benefited from a £5.5 million refurbishment to restore it to being a world-class venue. It is now graced with a contemporary Café-bar, the elegant Forum Restaurant, and a range of stylish reception spaces, as well as ample adjacent car parking for the convenience of audiences and guests.

WYCOMBE SWAN is a thriving entertainment complex at the heart of High Wycombe. As well as the main auditorium, the Swan Theatre, this unrivalled complex comprises adaptable spaces in the shape of the traditional Old Town Hall (now modernised as a flexible meeting, party, and performance space), and the elegant Grade II panelled Oak Room which dates from the Edwardian era.

THE CHURCHILL THEATRE. Since it opened in 1977, Bromley’s Churchill Theatre has been one of the South East’s leading live theatre venues. HQ Theatres & Hospitality was delighted to take over its management in April 2016.

THE WYVERN THEATRE, located in Swindon town centre, is a gem of a venue in which to enjoy the very best of theatre on tour, alongside shows produced in the local community. CREWE LYCEUM THEATRE is a Grade II listed building which, since extensive refurbishment in 2012, has re-established itself under HQ Theatres & Hospitality’s management as the premier venue in Cheshire in which to experience quality live entertainment in a beautiful traditional setting.

Its rich and diverse programme features West End productions, nationally-renowned comedians, and popular children’s and family shows in addition to a range of music, dance, variety and local community productions.

The Lyceum is a wonderfully intimate venue and the stylishly-decorated auditorium, with its intricately detailed plasterwork, proscenium arch and ceiling rose, together with the newly-refurbished front-of-house area, make it the ideal venue not only for enjoying great theatre, but also for great business events, parties, weddings, functions, and wedding receptions.

THE BECK THEATRE, opened in 1977, offers a vibrant mixed programme of light entertainment, concerts, comedy and digital cinema as well as dance, drama and local amateur shows.

Alongside the main auditorium there are spaces available to hire including a large foyer which is perfect for parties and celebrations, two meeting rooms which are ideal for staff training or seminars, and an external patio area complete with fountains and an ornamental pond which is a beautiful setting for outdoor events and wedding photographs. There is generous free parking and coach set-down and pick-up points.

Most recently the Theatre has played host to comedy favourites such as Jimmy Carr, Al Murray, Tim Vine and Joe Pasquale, and the Theatre’s sell-out children’s/family programme has included Peppa Pig and The Gruffalo.

HASTINGS WHITE ROCK THEATRE in its commanding position on the Hastings shoreline is the perfect concert and theatre venue, with a recently-refurbished Café Bar which enjoys wonderful sea views. The Theatre’s programme is varied and includes one-night concerts in a range of musical styles, musicals, drama, and an annual pantomime, as well as the annual Hastings Music Festival and Piano Competition, and a range of community-generated productions. Opened in 1912, THE PALACE THEATRE is a delightful Edwardian Theatre that retains all of the charm of its music hall origins including the sweeping grand staircase to the Circle, alongside many original features such as the mock-oriental domes on the boxes and the ornately-decorated billboard frames on the proscenium arch.

A major extension in the early 1980s created the separate Dixon Studio performance space on the first floor and a purpose-built, spacious bar area within the main entrance area.

The Palace’s programme consists of a varied mix of week-long, major national tours of dramas and comedies, such as The Woman in Black, The Pitmen Painters, Black Coffee, Art and The Play That Goes Wrong, and one-night appearances

by stand-up comedians, live bands and intimate classical recitals, as well as a monthly film showing. (The Palace Theatre was a picture-house for a brief period in the 1930s). A number of local and regional amateur dramatic groups also regularly perform to packed houses in both the main auditorium and the studio space.

SWINDON ARTS CENTRE enjoys enormous popularity amongst local people.

Situated in the Old Town, the venue has been presenting a range of performances since it opened in the 1950s within a specially-adapted older building.

With its intimate auditorium, it is ideal for small-scale touring productions and is also home to many shows produced by groups in the Swindon community amongst them the Western Players, Phoenix Players, and the Swindon Gilbert & Sullivan Society.

The programme regularly features stand-up comedy, film, and music in a range of styles, as well as some of the most original and inventive drama to be seen in Swindon. The Arts Centre is also home to the Old Town Library.

The Arts Centre offers an excellent range of deli snacks and drinks prior to each performance.
