COVID-19 UPDATES At this time, all worship services and gatherings will be suspended until fur-ther notice. We will also post the message outline on the Bible app, YouVersion, and the church web-site: www.zionhillbuford.org.

meant a lot to Stanley and our family
during this time. The Pugh Family
CONGRATULATIONS! Congratulations to Michael & Coby Hubbert on the birth of CJ Hubbert. He was born on December 30, 2019. CJ weighed 7lbs. 13oz. and was 19½ inches long. The proud grandparents are Mickey & Karen Maddox, and James & Olivia Hubbert.
PASTOR’S NOTE “God will save you from hidden traps
and from deadly diseases. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you can hide. His truth will be
your shield and protection. You will not fear any danger by night or an arrow
during the day. You will not be afraid of
diseases that come in the dark or sick-ness that strikes at noon. At your side one thousand people may die, or even
ten thousand right beside you, but you will not be hurt. You will only watch and
see the wicked punished. The Lord is your protection; you have made God
Most High your place of safety.”
Psalm 91:3-9 NCV
I read this psalm many times when I was in the army and law enforcement. I trusted God to protect me from harm and danger. During this pandemic, we must turn to God for His help and protection. Panicking or cowering in fear is not honoring to God or to others. Do not be careless or reck-less, but do not shut down either. God has called you and me to serve Him by serving others. Use the gifts and abilities that God’s Spirit has given you to help others during this difficult time in our nation and world.
The Governor of Georgia, the President, as well as the CDC, have asked that there be no gatherings of more than 10 people. As a church family, we do not want to put any of our fellow members at risk of contracting this virus. So, though we are not gathering as a church family, we will live-stream my messages on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. through our Facebook page. We will also post my message outline on the Bible app, YouVersion. The message will also be posted on our website: www.zionhillbuford.org. I hope you will con-nect with one of our sources to receive the message and any updates and announce-ments. Our prayer teams will continue to meet, and the church office will remain open, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Because of the pandemic, we will not meet for Easter, and we will not have any of our usual Easter activities. Again, we will live-stream an Easter message on Easter Sunday, April 12, at 11:00 a.m.
Please pray our nation that God will eradicate this Corona virus (Covid-19). Pray for our church family to stay well and safe. Help those whom you can. Please be faithful in your giving (our church still has financial obligations). You may mail your offering, bring it by the office, or drop it off on Sunday between 11:00 and 12:00. Thank you for your faithfulness. Be encour-aged by the angel at the tomb: “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen…” (Matthew 28:5-6). Just so you know: I love being your pastor!
