The smart way to dry air: The BOGE adsorption dryer D 20 A. Flow capacity: 2.07 m³/min, 73 cfm Max. operating pressure: 16 bar, 232 psig EFFICIENT DRYING. The BOGE D 20 A allows the com- pressed air to be dried in a very efficient manner. An optional dewpoint controller reduces the number of regeneration cycles by constantly measuring the dewpoint and by decreasing regeneration during partial load operation. This saves regeneration air and energy at the same time. CONVENIENT MAINTENANCE. With just a few turns the cartridge in the BOGE D 20 A can be re- placed– that‘s all. The cartridge contains both pre-filter and after- filter as well as the desiccant. Gone are the laborious days when the desiccant had to be cleaned out and then refilled. SILENT OPERATION. The BOGE D 20 A operates ex- tremely quietly: A novel sound ab- sorbing feature reduces the ex- haust air noise to max. 60 dB(A). Exhaust air sound pressure values exceeding 70 dB(A), commonplace with current adsorption dryers, are now a thing of the past. SAFE OPERATION. Damage to the desiccant due to bulk water is impossible with the BOGE D 20 A because a water separator at the air inlet reliably intercepts the water and prevents it from flowing into the cartridge and contaminating the media. Maintenance easier than ever: Simply replacing a cartridge is all that’s necessary!

EFFICIENT DRYING. The BOGE D 20 A allows the com-

pressed air to be dried in a very

effi cient manner. An optional

dewpoint controller reduces the

number of regeneration cycles by

constantly measuring the dewpoint

and by decreasing regeneration

during partial load operation. This

saves regeneration air and energy

at the same time.

CONVENIENT MAINTENANCE. With just a few turns the cartridge

in the BOGE D 20 A can be re-

placed– that‘s all. The cartridge

contains both pre-fi lter and after-

fi lter as well as the desiccant.

Gone are the laborious days when

the desiccant had to be cleaned

out and then refi lled.

SILENT OPERATION. The BOGE D 20 A operates ex-

tremely quietly: A novel sound ab-

sorbing feature reduces the ex-

haust air noise to max. 60 dB(A).

Exhaust air sound pressure values

exceeding 70 dB(A), commonplace

with current adsorption dryers, are

now a thing of the past.

SAFE OPERATION. Damage to the desiccant due to

bulk water is impossible with the

BOGE D 20 A because a water

separator at the air inlet reliably

intercepts the water and prevents

it from fl owing into the cartridge

and contaminating the media.

Maintenance easier than ever:

Simply replacing a cartridge

is all that’s necessary!

OVERVIEW OF THE BOGE D A SERIES:

After the drying process the air passes through

a particle fi lter (d) which is designed

to collect any residual dirt or dust particles

so that the air produced conforms to quality

Class 2 according to DIN ISO 8573.1.

The volume fl ow regulator (e) controls the fl ow

of compressed air and prevents any overloading

of the dryer and affecting the pressure

dewpoint.

Simultaneous to the drying process a small

portion of the dried compressed air is directed

through the other chamber (f) to desorb the

media.The desiccant is therefore regenerated

without any additional energy consumption.

The D A series is equipped with two towers:

Whilst one tower is adsorbing humidity the other

one is regenerating the desiccant.

Saturated compressed air leaving the compressor

enters the inlet (a) of one of the towers and

through the pre-fi lter/water separator (b) collecting water in a special condensate

chamber this prevents any bulk water migration

into the desiccant media. This water is then

separated during regeneration of the reservoir.

Subsequently, the air passes through the

desiccant (c) which adsorbs the remaining

water vapour from the air.
