THE SLUM IN THE RUSTY SHED LAM TEI #7 This refugee ghetto was established in 2007 by the old man who took the award for the “King of all slums ” earlier this year. He’s a greedy old man who couldn’t care less about tenants. Since 2009 when we first visited this site, conditions have worsened and walls are crumbling. The structure is in such poor condition it’s beyond repair. It is far from being tenantable! One has to wonder why ISS-HK has settled refugees in this slum since 2006 and how is it possible that no government department has taken notice of such improprieties and abuses.

This refugee ghetto was established in 2007 by the old man
who took the award for the “King of all slums” earlier this year.
He’s a greedy old man who couldn’t care less about tenants.
