Sometimes when a person is battling addiction, they need more than discipline and determination to win the fight. They need love, care and support. They need the help of someone who sees beyond the addiction, and into the heart of their suffering. The Salvation Army has made it our mission to meet human need, and we’re here to help.

Using participant-centred therapy that follows a bio-psycho-social model The Salvation Army’s Anchorage Addictions and Rehabilitation Program aims to facilitate personal development, mental wellness and support an addiction-free lifestyle. The qualified Anchorage staff assist participants in their therapy and support them in preparing a long-term plan with achievable goals, leading to a healthy return to community living, free of relapse.

All programs are offered in a safe, secure and supervised environment and are open to all persons over the age of 18.

There are two facets to the Anchorage Addictions and Rehabilitation Program: Residential Primary Care and Residential Aftercare.
