Dear friends, Established Word Ministries have a mandate to publish and establish the truth of the word of God. The Replica Magazine is an arm of this assignment. Therefore, we are excited to welcome you to the maiden edition of “The Replica Magazine” – Created in His Image. The bi-ble makes it clear that both the Man and Woman were created in the Image and Likeness of God , possessing His nature. The essence of this maga-zine is to re!ect the attributes of mankind, his na-ture and to bring a clear understanding of his potentials to live a lifestyle of heaven on earth.

We are God’s replica or you can say carbon copy. Genesis 1: 26 & 27 says “Let us make man in our im-age and after our likeness” and He blessed them to have dominion on the earth. We refer to that as “Having the same DNA as God”. We have been injected with the power to live a successful life.

Heaven on earth lifestyle is made a reality by our faith. We are ambassadors of heaven here on earth, living by the dictates of the Word of God on a daily

basis. This edition examines how God has branded us with success by pronouncing the blessing on man after creation to appropriate the power vir-tue and dominate inspite of life’s circumstances.

Featuring also is “Not always pink” dealing with some misguided concepts about women being weak, inferior and subordinate to men, highlight-ing her true image and importance in society.“The Admirals” establishes “The Real Man image” and how he can be equipped to ful"ll his God ordained mandate to be-come a man of vision, purpose and honour. “Teenager Manager” highlights the youth’s de-velopment through life in making wise Godly choices and decisions and maximising their po-tentials for a ful"lled life. Introducing Ted Jiboye and Towdah Music as they release their debut al-bum and "nally, the “Quiet Moments” articles. .

It is Christmas time and compliments of the season to you!

Christmas is that time of the year when the spirit of giving comes upon everyone, the time when we give and we receive, it is the most generous moment of the year when we all try to out give one another. However in the midst of this frenzy moment, we must never forget the real reason why we are celebrating the 25th December. It is the birthday celebration of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

The best way to celebrate this season is to remember where we were when He found us and how much He has changed our lives. Our purpose in this period is to prepare the hearts of men, women, young & old for the good news of Jesus Christ in the same way that John the Baptist proclaimed the coming of Jesus Christ. The bible says in John1: 6-7,” There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe”. John 1:23, “He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord”.

We have been called to present the story of Christmas everywhere we go concerning Jesus Christ being the reason for the season and as we lift Him up here on earth, He will draw all men to Himself. Christmas is a time to merry and be full of joy because God gave His only begotten son to reconcile man and God separated by sin.

In the Image of Him

wWhile a cat bears the identity of a cat and meows because that is its nature and a sheep bleets

because its nature is that of a sheep, so also is the identity and the nature of man found in his

“the state of being the same in nature, quality, or the individual characteristics by which a person or thing is recognized”. It can be associated with a name, date of birth, distinctive mark, number or feature. While these are points of personal reference,

the identity of a person is rooted in their nature, quality, character and lineage from where

they originated. In the book of Genesis, contrary to the world’s view of how man came to

be, the Bible clearly states that we are formed and created by God in His image and likeness.

Page 11: The Replica Magazine

The Replica Magazine Premier Edition | 11

You must have a conciousness of who you are to

26 & 27 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have domin-ion”... so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;; male and female cre-ated he them. The purpose of a creation is found in the mind of the maker, therefore man’s identity can

only be found in his creator – The Almighty God.

Image means representation of;; counterpart,

Likeness means correspondence in appearance,

uniformity.

The nature and qualities of God were replicated in

man when He created them. They were created with

God’s ability to represent His kingdom (God’s

system of operation) here on the earth.

So we are ambassadors of heaven to es-

tablish kingdom system on the earth.

Genesis 1 verse 28 says “And God blessed them, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and

and over the fowl of the air, and over eve-ry living thing that moveth upon the earth”.This is the blessing Covenant that God established

with man when He blessed him after creating him.

It is our responsibility to take hold of our do-

minion and blessing. After the fall of man in

the garden, God never gave up on man, he pro-

vided a redemption access back to the bless-

ing. Jesus came to demonstrate that the

sible to man and the same capacity to walk in it.

Colossians 1:9-11, states that “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to

of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understand-ing;; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness”.

Your identity in God can be related to how

Jesus lived His life with compassion and devotion,

His total surrender to the will of His father even unto

death. Jesus Christ was the exact replica of God. He

said in John 17:11“I and the Father are one.” He said if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father.

A lot of people struggle with their identity espe-

cially their connection to God because they have

not taken time to search for Him, know His ways

and understand His mind. According to the words

of Jesus we have the same identity as God – John 17:22 “I have given them the glory that you gave me, so that they may be one, just as we are one”. The Bible has shown us what is required to connect

to the nature and quality of God in Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,

longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meek-ness, temperance: against such there is no law”. We are to cultivate and practice these attributes in order

to become more and more like Him in nature each day.

The pathway to achieving these is also revealed

in Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoev-er things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report;; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”. An encouragement to achieving these God-like

nature is found in Romans 8:23 which states “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he

TThe truth is we have been created to succeed. When God made man, He blessed them.

Genesis 1 verse 28 says “And God blessed them, and said unto them, Be fruitful, multiply and

replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion. To be fruitful is to be productive, plenti-

work hard. Success is always good news. I have never heard or seen where failure is celebrated.

The creation of man in the image and likeness of God empowers his ability to succeed.

However, it takes activating these ability treasures to bring about suc-

cess. There is a system set up by God that makes life work;; the principle of

seed time and harvest time, input and output, sowing and reaping. .

Tirelessly pursue the following to achieve the success branding qualities.Vision Your ability to see with eyes. The Imagination to create our desire. To have a range of view

or to have perception. Vision is an experience in which a personage, thing, or event appears vividly or credibly to the mind, although not actually present. Unless you have a vision for

success, you will not know when you become successful. Your vision will force you to map out the path to your dream and desire. It will inspire others to help you achieve your vision.

Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish.

Wisdom Information is gathered data, understanding is the ability to comprehend the gathered data

and wisdom is the ability to apply the understanding of the data gathered. Wisdom triggers

success. So wisdom is knowing what and how to do what you have to do to succeed. Wis-

dom is an anointing that is available to whosoever desires it. Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing;; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraided not;; and it shall be given him.

Persistence & Tenancity

surrender is another vital ingredient for success. You must keep going for your dream even

in the face of opposition. Quitters don’t win and winners don’t quit. Matthew 10:22 “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endure to the end shall be saved “

Focus

order to succeed, you must remain focussed on your goals and refuse to be distracted. Don’t

major on the minor things in life. Set your course and stay on course to your destination.

Luke 12:2 set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Courage Courage is the greatest of all virtues because upon it they all hang. Nature always favours the brave. In order to

be successful, you must have the courage of your convictions, to act in accordance with your beliefs, especially

in spite of criticism.

Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;; be not afraid, neither be thou dis-mayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever you go.

1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant;; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour“

Discipline and Hardwork - Tireless Pursuit until the goal is achieved Success in life is usually hidden in our daily routines. The natural tendency is to take things easy and almost be

complacent. “But it is the small foxes that spoils the vine”. Be disciplined and prepare to work hard at achieving

your dream and remember, success comes in small packets.

Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

PPraise is a Kingdom of God tool filled with wonders. It is the sickle that gathers in harvests of

increase and victory. Praise is adoration, appreciation, eulogy, exaltation, glorification, devo-

tion, worship, applause and approbation to Almighty God, our father. Praise is a supernatural

invitation that ushers in God’s presence. He descends at the sound of our praise; Psalm 22:3

says “He inhabits the praises of His people”. God created men to praise by adoring His great-

ness, appreciating His goodness, grace and mercy over them, exalting, worshiping and glori-

fying His divine nature and to spend time with Him in devotion (see Isaiah 43:21 & 1st Peter

2:9). Everyday is an opportunity to praise Him. Everything we need comes through our praise

and worship to Him.

Page 18: The Replica Magazine

God created men and women for praise. Psalm 150 instructs on how we are to praise God...

Isaiah 43:21 “This people have I formed for myself;; they shall shew forth my praise” 1st Peter 2:9 says “But you are a chosen peo-ple, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light”

Praise is the purpose of Man’s breath. A praiseful life lives long. Praise is the beautiful garment we put on to shake off the dust of heaviness and sadness. An atmosphere of praise is an atmos-

phere of God which preserves and prolongs your blessings.. Praise is not a demonstration of hu-

man excitement or bodily exercise but a demonstration of divine involvement.

Praise is a weapon of instant divine intervention. The battles of life are won in our praise to God,

provokes the release of supernatural harvest, a speedy delivery of blessings. Praise brings enlight-

enment, it creates an atmosphere for revelation, insight, envisioning and makes your brain fertile.

It is in God’s plan for mankind to live long and live strong on the earth. Before the fall of man, God created him to live forever. After sin showed up, lifespan was reduced. Adam, his children, his children’s children, his children’s children’s children’s, his children’s children’s children’s children’s etc. etc., still lived for massive length of days. For instance, according to Genesis 5, Adam lived 930 years, Seth his son lived 912years, his grandson 905 years , his great-grandson Cainan 910 years, great-great-grandson Mahalalel lived 895 years and his son Jared lived 962 years. Enoch, son of Jared, never died, he was caught up to heaven at a young age of 365years. However his son Methuselah lived for 969 years. Wow!! The grace to live long and in great health is still available for whosoever desire it...I know I do!

How to maximise the 120 years benefitLiving by the dictates of the word of God because the Word is Life. Feed yourself well; spiritually and naturally keep and feed your body, the terbanacle of God healthy.

1. Smoking destroys the lungs and causes lung cancer.Smoking is one of the major causes of cardiovascular disease, and smokers are almost twice as likelyto have a heart attack as people who have never smoked. Smoking damages the lining of your arteries, building up of fatty material(atheroma) and a reduced space for blood to pass through. The carbon monoxide in cigarette smoke reduces the amount of oxygen that the blood can carry to your heart and body. The nicotine in cigarettes stimulates your body to produce adrenaline, which makes your heart beat faster and raises blood pressure, and results in your heart working harder. Your blood is also more likely to clot.

he image of man has evolved over the years and will continue for some time to come. Natu-‐rally, men are very competitive by nature but this attribute can sometimes be over emphasised. Sometimes when men meet or gather together they are very eager to establishing their status by an introduction of who they are based on their career, position or title rather than by simply saying “Hello my name is John Blessed and its great to meet you.” A typical introduction goes like this “Hello, I am Dr Professor Great, The Most Apostle, the Chief

CEO, President of the largest ministry in existence….” or “Hi, I am Peter Peck, so what do you do”? As innocent as it may sound, the “status establishment” conversation is a gentle way of comparing the worth of one with another. Some men live the “iron man syndrome” life. They are out of their wits unless they are suited, booted and carrying the essence of who they are in a briefcase. Just like the iron man, they are almost powerless and ineffective unless they have their armour on. Their success and manhood is based on su-‐

to, where they go on vacation, where their wife shops and the quality of the school their children attend.

life to long for. Man has been created with all of God’s attributes and has been given the ability to operate in His wisdom. He established the man and gave him all power and dominion and responsibility over all things.

Man was established not to fail. The established man is not determined by the abundance of things; rather he is measured by the nature and the image of God that is formed in him. Eph-‐

esians 4:13 says; “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”. In other words, the success of man is measured by how much of Christ-‐like he becomes or how much of the nature of God he possesses. The established man must possess and display the nature of God as seen in Christ. As an ambassador of heaven on earth, having a father’s heart, being a loving husband, caring for his family, being compassionate and a responsible leader

other men to God.

Have you ever stopped for a moment to think and ask yourself “Who am I? Or do you just go by what society has stereotyped you as? Do you actually believe the “chaos evolving to order and perfection theory”? Let’s perform an experiment. Try smashing a bottle, then write a comprehensive report on the order of perfection that it brings. Also, have you thought about why man has not evolved into something else since he last evolved? Look around you and see the perfection of creation. Ask yourself why you think the way you do, why you are creative in plan-‐ning your daily activities. Think about the solutions you invent in sorting problems, how you are able to love and have care and compassion towards people. Look into your eyes and describe what you see, do you know that no

same, even the top forensic scientist will agree with this. This is a sign pointing to how uniquely each person was created, and...ehm!!, don’t really think the chaos theory did that!! You were specially made to glorify your maker.

“Not Always Pink” is an expression to imply or connote that the woman is not what society has stereotyped or labelled her to be. Generally, pink is a descriptive colour dubbed or associated with feminity. The same way pink has been conventionalised to mean femininity, female have been tagged as weak, inferior and surbodinate to men and in my opinion nothing can far from the truth. A lot of women are ignorant of their true identity as a woman and so therefore have conformed to what society is saying they should be in terms of their ability, emotions and sexuality. “This is Woman” and celebrate the values of woman. In the book of Genesis 1:26-‐27, God said “let us create man in our Image, after our Like-‐ness and let them have dominion...so God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”. From this passage of scripture, it is very clear that God did not create woman to be weaker than man, rather they were both created in His image and likeness.

It is often said that Man is the crown of God and the woman the crown of man. However, this does not necessarily connote she is rated lower or lesser to man. Image means representation, ap-‐

Likeness means cor-‐

In conclusion “woman” is also the true representation, possessing the same nature, ability and attributes of God. Therefore, the woman

is not what she has been customed, patterned and moulded by society to be. She is a life builder and a solution creator just like her maker rather than the unim-‐aginable image and standard portrayed. It is time to realise your identity and authority as well as the freedom you have to exercise your ability and strength as

a woman. You are not an object of sexual perversion and abuse. Rise up and take hold of your true identity!

The teenage years can seem challenging and entertaining at the same time because it is a season I have called “The Identity discovery-Season of Life” for the young generation. As parents or adults raising young people, we have to help our children establish their identity in God at an early age in order to shield them from the confusion the society places on them. Re!ecting back, we were once teenagers ourselves and know how we felt in this stage of development. The Bible says about Moses in Exodus 2:2 that “And the woman conceived, and bares a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months”. From this passage of scripture, it is obvious that the parents of Moses did not wait or allow society to name their son or classi"ed him as anything other than what they see him to be – “a Godly Child”. As parents, even when our children get to ages 13 to 19 years old, calling them “teenager” is only a description of their age and not the essence of who they are or will be. It is our responsibility to call our children what God call them and what we want them to be. The teenage years is a “bridge” year when children start to grow into adolescent and starting to experience changes to their physical, social and emotional world. At this stage in their lives, what they need more than anything is parental guidance, support, encourage-ment and understanding of changes into adulthood. This time of their lives is also when friends and societal expectation pressure is high. However, when virtues and discipline has been instilled in them , they would be able to make wise decisions that will not hinder their destiny. Deuteronomy 11:19-20 says “And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates.”

When teenagers are exposed to God early in their lives, their identity and self awareness would have been formed and solidify so that when the pressure from friends and societal expectations come, they will know not to bow and submit to such pressure. The Bible said Daniel and his 3 Hebrew friends refused to de"le themselves with the food from the king’s table because they have been established from youth in the knowledge of God and their self-awareness. Daniel 1:8 “But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not de!le him-self with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not de!le himself”. This kind of solid self awareness and con"dence in their God is the same requirements that will help young people of today set limits for their lives. By deciding what needs and limits they have, teenagers will be in a better position to determine if they are getting into a situa-tion beyond their control just like the Hebrews boys did in the passage above. Communicating their limits to friends or acquaintances will be easy because they know where their allegiance lies with God and planning in advance makes life easier.

If you do not know Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, simply pray the following prayer in faith and Jesus will be your Lord.

Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Je-sus, your words says, “Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” and “if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved” (Acts 2:21; Romans 10:9). I take You at Your Word, I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You for coming into my heart, for giving me Your Holy Spirit as You have promised, and for being Lord over my life. Amen.

If you have prayed this prayer, congratulations, you are now born again! Your name is written in the Lambs book of life. The next step is to de-velop your relationship with God. So you need to "nd a Bible believing church in your area and let them know of your decision. You can also contact us or any of the churches shown in this maga-zine.
