According to the Quran, Allah gaveJesus the Injil (Gospel). This is in the46thverse o !urat al "aidah#

And in their footsteps We sentJesus the son of Mary, conrming the Law that hadcome before him. We sent himthe Gospel. In it was guidance

light, conrmation of theLaw that came before him! aguidance admonition tothose who fear Allah (!urat al"aidah, $#46).

Jesus taught this Gospel to the Je%sin &alestine. 'o%ever, he didnt dothis alone. 'e had disciples %ith hi,%ho %ere the e% Je%s %ho acceptedhis essage. "ost Je%s diselieved,

    * the Quran states that Allah aidedJesus disciples (%ho are considered"uslis), proising that the+d esuperior over the unelievers untilthe a+ o -esurrection#

When Jesus found unbelief ontheir part he said! "Who#ll bemy helpers in the wor$ ofAllah%& 'he (isciples said!"We#re Allah)s helpers. We

belie*e in Allah testify thatwe#re Muslims. +ur Lord, webelie*e in what you#*ere*ealed, we follow theApostle then write us downamong those who testify.&...Allah said! "+ Jesus- I#ll ta$eyou raise you to myself clear you of the falsehoods ofthose who blaspheme. I#ll

ma$e those who follow yousuperior to those whodisbelie*e til the (ay of

/esurrection. 'hen you#ll allreturn unto me, I#ll 0udgebetween you on the mattersyou dispute& (!urat Al Iran,#$/0$,$$).

+ you who belie*e- 1e helpersof Allah. As Jesus the son ofMary said to the (isciples,

    "Who#ll be my helpers in thewor$ of Allah%& 'he disciplessaid, "We#re Allah)s helpers-&then a portion of the 2hildrenof Israel belie*ed, a portiondisbelie*ed, but we ga*epower to those who belie*edagainst their enemies, theypre*ailed (!urat as !a1,62#24).

Also, the Quran states that %henthe Je%s plotted to 3ill Jesus, Allahprevented the, ut ade it seeli3e the+ succeeded. This is ound in!urat an isa#

'hey said, "We $illed 2hristJesus the son of Mary, theApostle of Allah.& 1ut theydidn#t $ill him nor cruciedhim, but it was made to seem

so to them, those who di3eron it are full of doubts, without$nowledge, but only con0ectureto follow, for surely they didn#t$ill him (!urat an isa, 4#2$5).

    This raises uestions# 7ere thedisciples tric3ed into elieving thathe died8 !urel+ the+ %erent, orthe+d e no etter than unelievers.7here, then, did their essage go8

9ou a+ sa+ it %as lost or corrupted,ut this eans the disciples %erentaided + Allah or ade superior

over the unelievers, nulli+ing theQurans %ord.

Another prole is the act that the:hristian 4ew 'estament clais toe the e+e%itness accounts o these

    disciples. :onsider these verses#

'his is the disciple whotesties to these things whowrote them down. We $nowthat his testimony is true (John/2#/4).

We didn)t follow cle*erlyde*ised myths when we toldyou about the power andcoming of our Lord Jesus2hrist, but we wereeyewitnesses of his ma0esty.
