Max. kinematic viscosity: 20 mm2/s
Check the motor power when the density or viscosity deviates from that of water.
Temperature range: –10 °C to +90 °C.

Installation and operationSuitable in the standard version for vertical installation in the reservoir. Other installation situations available on request.
When the pump is switched on the minimum level of fluid has to be above the bottommost pump chamber �.The pump then delivers all the way to the intake in the chamber or tube �. The maximum permissible level of fluid amounts to 30 mm below the reservoir's cover �.

Dry running is not permitted. Before startup, fill the pump with fluid for pumping.There is only limited support for short-term operation without such fluid during the feeding operation.
A minimum volumetric flow of 5 to 10 % of the nominal deliver y rate must be assured.
Starting frequency:The pumps should be operated on a continuous basis whenever possible. If, for example, that is not possible for technical reasons, con-stant pump delivery can be regulated by a control valve or the like.
PX pumps with frequency converter A PX pump with integral frequency converter permits optimum use whatever the application. It adjusts its power consumption to the application's needs, thereby saving energy. Various working points in its characteristics field can be selected in order to achieve optimal harmonization of the pump with the application. If necessary, the points can be approached on a continuous basis or in specified increments. If required, one pump can per-form the tasks of several (i.e. ones without variable�speed con-trol).Thanks to total separation of the motor and pump, it is also easy to retrofit integrated variable�speed control.
Advantages of frequency controlled pumps:
• energy savings• small amount of heat introduced into fluid• optimal harmonization with the application • comfortable incorporation in the machine’s control system• easy to start up• solution for OEMs and retrofitters
