The Problem Solving Method has some similarities with the Cientific Method, both are meant to find a solution to a problem

The problem solving Method is a very efficient tool to develop Critical Thinking among students of different ages.

Identify the Problem : At this stage the students need to understand the problem, wether is a math, Science, or History problem

Define Goals: At this stage the students need to find out what is expected to be solved and make sure they know the main objective

Evaluate a strategy: At this stage students can have one, two or three different strategies to reach a result of a problem. Stuidents need to select the best one that fits the purpose of solution.
