Framework Origin: The Definite Dozen© framework for leadership and success was introduced to the public in the 1998 book Reach for the Summitt: The Definite Dozen System for Succeeding at Whatever You Do written by Pat Summitt with Sally Jenkins.

Research Validated: The Definite Dozen© framework has been successfully mapped to several popular leadership models including the Five Leadership Practices developed by James Kouzes and Barry Posner from Santa Clara University and the Leadership Architect Global Competency Framework developed by the highly-successful consulting company Korn Ferry.
