With everything going on around us lately, it was nice to hear some good news. For the fourth year in a row Palmer Gas & Oil has won the Best of Business Award for Best NH Fuel Provider! We’re proud of this accomplishment, and we know that we have you to thank. We appreciate not only those who voted for us, but everyone who has taken the time to post a positive online review, refer a friend, or to personally call to thank us for a job well done. That is why it was even more difficult to make the decision to cancel this year’s Customer Appreciation Day. Though we are all disappointed, we feel that it is the appropriate thing to do to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our customers and employees. We are already planning next year’s event which we promise will be bigger and better than ever before. But for now, we are all focused on what we can do to keep our families safe. For Palmer Gas & Oil, that means keeping you warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. It means ensuring you have plenty of fuel, your equipment is in tiptop shape, and your Spring projects (maybe that new generator you have been thinking about) are scheduled and ready to go. Sure, like any other company we have made some changes. We have temporarily closed our walk-in office to unscheduled visitors. (You can make payments over the phone, through our website, or by special arrangement.) High risk employees are working from home. (They are fully equipped, and you will not notice any difference.) We are all practicing social distancing. (Please do not be offended if when visiting your house, we do not shake your hand. You will still be greeted with a smile. In these unusual times we want to keep everyone safe.) I want to assure you that at Palmer Gas & Oil we have product on hand, we are fully staffed, and we are ready to meet your fuel and service needs as we have been for over 85 years.
