Messages that come through console will not require accept/decline (When set up this way)

SPOK MOBILE: SECURE ID
• Visual indicator of a secure device within the directory
• Function that will allow the admin to enable or disable the ability to message to non-secure devices
• System looks at the host DB and if device is a Spok Mobile device, it is flagged as secure
• If a user has multiple devices and any of them are not secure, they will be considered non-secure
• If a group has a non secure device in it, then the entire group will be displayed as non-secure

Spok Mobile Conversations will allow care teams to easily communicate around a patient and their needs.
• Separation of system alerts that require escalation and team conversations
• Single threaded conversations like consumer based messaging applications
• Create groups based on patient care teams
SPOK WEB MESSAGING
Real-time messaging and inbox capabilities in web will bring Spok Mobile to the desktop.
Providers such as nurses or doctors will have the ability to send a receive messages from the web interface.
They will be able to quickly search the directory and have a real-time conversation with a Spok Mobile user.
SPOK MOBILE DIRECTORY
The Spok Mobile Directory will be enhanced to allow care team members communicate via multiple mediums.
• Directory search will include more information around availability and coverage
• Users entries will be expanded to include email addresses, phone contact info and other pertinent contact information
• Integrations with profile information providers like Doximity

• Integration to Identity Management Providers
• Additions to directory with Spok Mobile criteria will
automatically be registered into the system
• Password changes updates will be pushed through the
system automatically
• Removal of person from AD will result in them being
unregistered from system
SPOK MOBILE: MULTI-USER SUPPORT
Built for clinical use of devices that are spread across
multiple users:
• Users will be able to log into app at the
beginning of shift and out at the end of their
shift
• One device can be used by multiple clinicians
• Alerts and conversations will be loaded at log in
and removed at log out

In 2016 Spok will begin to add functionality that will enhance the use of the app in a clinical setting:
Patient lists will be added to help bring context to daily communications around patients
Task lists functionality will be added to help clinicians complete their daily jobs while working from one platform
