The Office of Experiential Education and Civic Engagement (OEECE)

Quarterly Report: 2011-2012

Through Kent State University faculty and community partnerships, the OEECE expose students to deliberate real-

world experiences that enhance and validate the inter-connectedness between academic studies, skill development,

and civic responsibility. OEECE assists faculty to develop, implement, and revise experiential learning courses.

Additionally, OEECE provides direct consultation to faculty, students, and staff, provides resources for course

development, conducts research on experiential learning efforts, promotes student and faculty leadership, and

promotes engaged scholarship.
