It’s the night before the battle. Meet Annie Bodkin, wife of an archer, and find out why she is at the battle of Bosworth. Learn about the life of an
archer’s wife and explore what Annie’s husband, the archer, would have had in his kit. Battles were not just for the men but women also played a
significant part in the preparation and management of warfare. Learn about the role of medieval women and how the part they played shaped
history at this time. Finish by singing a camp fire song to keep up morale.
Teachers can bring their family for FREE to the site for a pre-visit
