The Madrid stock market rose less than 1 percentage point on Tuesday after it was announced late on Monday that the Eurozone finance ministers had agreed to offer Spain 30bn to help its troubled banks. The risk premium dropped three points to 556.50. On Monday, the yield on Spanish 10-year bonds – which are taken as a strong indicator of the interest rate the government would have to pay to borrow money – rose above 7%, while Italian bond yields rose to 6.1%. Yields above 7% are considered to be unsustainable in the long term. After nine hours of emergency talks in Brussels, the ministers said the money would be available by the end of July. It was also agreed that a 2013 deadline for Spain to cut its budget deficit to the EU limit of 3% could be extended by one year. Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker said after the meeting: "We are aiming at reaching a formal agreement in the second half of July, taking into account national parliamentary procedures, allowing for a first disbursement of 30 bn by the end of the month to be mobilised as a contingency in case of urgent needs in the Spanish banking sector." I will be taking a short tripto the UK soon and I amnot good with airline’shidden charges. Yes, Ihave watched severaltimes Fascinating Aida’ssong about flights for 50pon YouTube (if youhaven’t seen it yet, it’svery funny and soaccurate it’s untrue!) but Iam a little shocked by theterms and conditionsattached to the airline Iam travelling with. I usedto love flying Aer lingusfrom here to london but, sadly they no longer runthe service, and servicewas the operative wordwith them - it was secondto none. Easyjet I likebecause, although youhave to pay foreverything on top, atleast they don’t hide itand you know what toexpect. Also, their crewsare usually friendly andfun, unlike “the world’sfavourite airline” thatseem to be a miserablebunch of so-and-so’s.Anyway, all that aside, Iam going to be travellingwith Monarch this time. They say that your handbaggage allowance isone piece weighing nomore than 10kg and thesize of the bag shouldn’texceed certaindimensions which is fine. Then in very small printthey say that yourhandbag must also fitinside said hand luggageso, basically, even for aweekend you have nochoice other than tobook in hold luggage orwear the same thing allweekend. To book holdluggage costs €19.99 andI could buy a whole newcase for that price! Addto that the fact that I can’tbook in online unless Ipay for a seat – that isanother €6.99 – and I feelthat I’ve been royallyripped off by them. I shalljust get there early andstand in line witheveryone else!

He added: "There will bespecific conditions forspecific banks, and thesupervision of the financialsector overall will bestrengthened."

Mr Juncker also said thatMadrid should implementmeasures needed to bringits public finances into linewith EU norms. A

government source said onTuesday that the loans werefor 12 years and would bepaid at an interest rate lowerthan 3 per cent.

On Saturday, Prime MinisterMariano Rajoy hadannounced that he wouldtake further steps soon tocut the country's publicdeficit.

The garage belongs to 61-year-old Jose ManuelFernández Castiñeiras, who had worked at theCathedral of Santiago deCompostela for 25 years ina self-employed capacity, and was sacked early lastyear after falsifying alabour document to passhimself off as a contractedworker.

At the time of the theft,he was claiming €40,000for unfair dismissal. Policesuspected the theft was aninside job and, because theCodex was impossible tosell on the open market, feared that it had beenstolen to order for acollector – which wouldhave made it impossible totrace. They eliminatedsome 30 suspects beforehoming in on FernándezCastiñeiras who had had astormy relationship withcathedral dean José MaríaDíaz.

Security camerascaptured images ofFernández Castiñeirasleaving the cathedral onJuly 4th, 2011 – the day ofthe robbery – carrying apackage under his arm. Butit wasn’t enough to accusehim of any crime, saidSerafín Castro, chief of thespecial crimes squad.Suspicions were raisedfurther when FernándezCastiñeiras tried to buy ahouse worth €300,000. Hehad already purchased a

luxurious apartment in ALanzada in 2008. Castrosaid that in one of theconversations he had withthe suspect, he said“Manolo, I hope the peoplewho have the codex don’tdecide to burn it.”Fernández Castiñeirasreplied “No, it isn’tburnt.” “That is when hegave himself away,” Castrosaid.

Interior Minister JorgeFernández Díaz said lastFriday that although thepolice had long suspectedthe electrician, they didn’twant to arrest himimmediately because theywere interested in findingthe Codex Calixtinus, thepriceless ancient fieldguide to the Way of St.James written sometime inthe mid-1100s, whichmade internationalheadlines when it wasstolen.

Last week’s police raidson houses, garages andstorage units belonging toFernández Castiñeirasindicate he had beenpilfering from the cathedralover a long period oftime.

Police discovered nearly€2 million and some$600,000 in cash in thegarage as well as othervaluable manuscripts andpapers. They arrestedFernández Castiñeiras , aswell as his wife, RemediosNieto Mayo, their son JesusFernández and hisgirlfriend, Maria Jesus Q.who was later released forlack of evidence againsther. The other three werejailed without bail.

The Spanish branch of theWorld Wide Fund forNature (WWF, formerlyWorld Wildlife Fund) hascalled a special meeting onJuly 21st with just one itemon the agenda: whether ornot to remove King JuanCarlos from his position asfounding and honorarypresident of theenvironmentalorganisation.

The NGO was criticisedfor having the king as itsfigurehead after hiselephant-hunting trip hitthe headlines in April.WWF secretary generalJuan Carlos del Olmo saidthe Royal Household hadsaid it would pay “theutmost respect to thedecision taken by themembers”.

King Juan Carlos has

occupied the post of WWFhonorary president since1968, but has played alimited role in itsoperations.

After the elephanthunting incident, WWFsent a letter to the RoyalHousehold saying theking’s actions had“provoked enormouscontempt among members

and in public opinion ingeneral against the huntingof elephants, even when itis carried out in a legal andregulated way”. Elephantscan still be hunted legallyin South Africa, Namibia,Zimbabwe and Botswana.

The king killed thebuffaloes in thephotograph above on thesame hunting trip.

Wooden crosses werepulled up from the Saint-Etienne-à-Arnes cemeteryand some were later usedfor a camp fire. PresidentHollande condemned theact, saying nothing wouldchange French friendshipwith Germany.

A spokesman at the localprefecture said it was not

immediately clear whetherit was a "determinedaction" or the work of"irresponsible people". Thespokesman added thatthere was no sign of anypolitical message after theattack – just hours beforeMr Hollande and MrsMerkel met in Reims'imposing cathedral.

The reconciliationbetween the former foeswas symbolically achievedduring the 1962 meeting

between the then leaders ofFrance and Germany,Charles de Gaulle andKonrad Adenauer.

Earlier on Monday, theSupreme ConstitutionalCourt rejected the decreeissued by Mr Mursi the daybefore to reconvene theMuslim Brotherhood-dominated parliament.

The court said its June 14thruling – that part of lastyear's parliamentaryelection wasunconstitutional – wasbinding and final. But armyunits posted outside theparliament building hadalready left and some MPshad gone in for the firsttime since the assemblywas dissolved.

Singapore is proposingchanges to its mandatorydeath penalty for drugtrafficking and murder insome cases.

Under the proposedchanges, the courts willhave the discretion toeither sentence theoffender to death or lifeimprisonment with caning, instead of the mandatorydeath penalty, but onlywhen ''two specific, tightly-defined conditions aremet'', Deputy PrimeMinister Teo Chee Hean

said on Monday. The twoconditions are that theoffender is only a courierand is not involved in thesupply or distribution ofdrugs, and if the offenderco-operates withauthorities, or is mentallydisabled.

However, the mandatorydeath penalty will continueto apply in most cases, particularly for those whomanufacture or traffic indrugs and those who fund, organise or abet drugtrafficking, said Mr Teo,

who is also home affairsminister. In homicidecases, the mandatory deathpenalty will only apply incases where there is anintention to kill, LawMinister K Shanmugamtold parliament.

Executions have beensuspended since July 2011as part of a year-longreview. The legislation isexpected to be introducedby the end of the year anddeath row convicts wouldbe able to seek re-sentencing.

With the orange harvestdestroyed by late frosts andno other work available, agroup of workers belongingto the Andalusian Workers'Syndicate (SAT) took overthe 400-hectare Somontesfarm in Palma de Río, inCórdoba province, which isowned by the Junta deAndalucia.

Their slogan “La tierrapara el que la trabaja” (Theland for those who work it)is a call to arms dating backto the days before the CivilWar. Their inspiration is thevillage of Marinaleda, inthe neighbouring provinceof Seville, where the mayorof 33 years' standing, JuanManuel Sánchez Gordillo, decided back in the late1970s to occupy unusedland and work it.

More than three decadeslater, the community is one

of the few in the area withfull employment.

Gordillo backs theSomontes workers, as doesthe ombudsman ofAndalusia, José Chamizo, who has visited Palma delRío in support of theirinitiative. They decided tooccupy the land on March4th, the day that it was dueto be auctioned.

It was the third timesince June 2011 that theJunta de Andalucia had

tried to sell off the land, at astarting price of €1.5million euros. There wereno takers, and the SATworkers decided to occupyit, fearing it would be soldprivately.

The Somontes workershave taken their case tocourt, where they hope todemonstrate that they areputting the land to gooduse by irrigating it.

Hopefully, the judge willagree with them.

Scarce rainfallblamed forjellyfish plague

Nearly four tons of jellyfishwere collected from Malagacity’s beaches over theweekend and almost 1,200people were treated forstings.

The red flags were raisedon several beaches inRincon de la Victoria,Marbella and Estepona tokeep bathers out of a seaswarming with jellyfish, which forced some beachesto close temporarily onMonday. To make mattersworse, this year the pestsare bigger than ever.

The good news is thattheir sting is not as bad asthat of smaller species ofjellyfish. Biologist JuanJesus Marin explained to alocal newspaper that theplague was the result of thisspring’s scarce rainfall.Jellyfish normally live andbreed some two miles offthe coast but the lack ofrainfall heats up the sea

The saga of the two Malagathieves – a company ownerand one of his employees –began on June 20th, whenthey robbed three banks inMadrid in less than threehours. Eight days later theyrobbed three more in theSalamanca district ofMadrid. They copied theirmodus operandi from thefilm “Reservoir Dogs” –dressed in smart suits andwearing sun glasses, theystood in line and when theyreached the cashier theydonned motorcyclehelmets and pulled guns. They used a motorbike toescape. They managed tostay ahead of the policebecause they lived inMalaga and only robbedbanks in Madrid. But theirluck finally ran out after abank employee saw themtake refuge in a bar near thebank in the Chamberidistrict of the capital afteranother robbery. Both men, aged 40 and 48, arecurrently in jail in Madrid.

Malagathievesgo on aspree

and makes them breedmore, he said. They don’tswim like fish but letthemselves be dragged byocean currents whichpush them towards theshore.

So when there are moreof them, more reach theshore. Marin said that lastyear and the year before it

rained quite heavily and asa result there were fewerjellyfish off the Malagacoast.

Beachgoers are advisedto keep an eye on theflags – red means toomany jellyfish, yellowmeans swim butcautiously.

Memo fromMadridMartin DelfínWrites for the English language version of

The LocalVoice

Muriel Pilkington

As I write, Socialist Partyspokeswoman Soraya Rodriguez ison the telly, waffling on about

every minister and the PM having toappear in Parliament to explain theirevery move. As usual, she is trotting outwhat has almost become a mantra for theopposition – Rajoy is doing the oppositeof everything he promised during theelection campaign, and why doesn’t hesimply tell us the truth. Now, if Iremember rightly, former Socialist PrimeMinister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapaterowas also a dab hand at going back on hispromises. In fact, his U-turns are the stuffof legend already. He also wouldn’t knowwhat the truth was if you stuffed it up hisnose. Who said the nation’s banks werestrong and could resist any crisis?Zapatero. Who said recently that maybehe had been a bit slow off the mark whenit came to tackling the crisis when itshould have been tackled way back in2007, 2008 at the latest? Zapatero. I keeptelling the Socialists that in this hi-techday and age, everything everybody saysor does is recorded for posterity, butthey’re not getting the message.

Then we have these famous debatesthat Rodriguez is going on about asI write. The opposition wants every

little thing debated endlessly inParliament, although when the Socialistswere in power Zapatero was notoriousfor refusing to debate anything. It was acase of “I rule – you shut up”.

When are the Socialists going torealise that the people don’twant more hot air, they want

action and they can laugh at Rajoy asmuch as they like but at least he’s movinghis ass, as our American friends wouldsay, and I suspect he’ll be doing all thelaughing this time next year.

Meanwhile, how do the Socialistsexplain the latest survey –carried out by Metroscopio for

none other than that Socialiststronghold, El Pais. For someinexplicable reason, the Socialists arenow 13.9 percentage points behind thePartido Popular, which is maintaining anapproval rating of 37 per cent despite allthe austerity measures. Admittedly, thePP has lost seven percentage points sinceit won the last election, but the Socialistshave lost even more. Could it be thatpeople are beginning to think that –paradoxically – the “progressive”Socialists are living in the past and thetradition-bound conservatives (the

Partido Popular) are taking the future bythe horns?

And when are the Socialists andother opposition parties going tostop trying to govern the country?

– voters gave the Partido Popular amajority to do just that. Right now, wehave the situation where the IzquierdaUnida (IU, the Communist-dominatedUnited Left) thinks it runs the country, just because it got a few more seats thanit did last time around. The Socialiststhink they’re still running the country, even though the party suffered the worstdefeat in its history last November. Andas for Rosa Diez, who got four more seatsthis time, up from one in the lastZapatero government, I simply don’tknow what to make of her now. She usedto be so level-headed and intelligent butsuccess seems to have gone to her head– she’s currently taking the governmentto some court or other in an attempt toget all its legislation declaredunconstitutional and overturned.

Hopefully they’ll all go away onholiday soon and let Rajoy get onwith it!

Return to yesterday

As for living in the past I’ve had asobering experience recently. I’mlooking after a cat and plants for

some friends who have gone to the UKfor a few weeks. They live in the old partof town, which was a thriving area underthe Moors for centuries. It’s the sort ofarchitecture I love – we called it SpanishColonial in Venezuela. Long narrowstreets with permanently shutteredwindows and doors open at this time ofthe year to give you a peek into anotherera. Being nosey, I can’t resist an opendoorway in these small towns – theyusually afford you a glimpse of tiled, cool,plant-packed patios which are a delightto the eye. There are a few patios like thatin the street where my friends live, but Iwas shocked to see two or three interiorsthat took me back to the sixties, when Ifirst lived here in Spain. Plant-less patios, hardly any furniture, flaking paint oncracked wood and dull floor tiles – sotypical of the poverty that was rife herethen. While a lot of Spaniards have neverhad it so good, others are still mired inthe bad old days.

Rajoy and reality Socialist ‘reality’

What little credibility Spain hadwith the Eurogroup is now alllost. Tuesday’s agreement,

hammered out before dawn, to release€30 billion by the end of the month to gotowards recapitalising Spanish banks wasreached in the interests of all the nationsinvolved.

Now Spain has to show it will meetits side of the bargain and begininitiating a still-unknown packet

of measures to demonstrate to Brusselsthat it means business when it says itwants to contain the deficit. In exchangefor allowing Spain to relax it budget-deficit goal for this year from 5.3 per centof GDP to 6.3 per cent, Brussels isdemanding that the Spanish governmenthike value added tax, which now standsat 18 percent, to a higher, stillundisclosed rate. There were alsodiscussions during the Eurogroupmeeting about forcing the government tocut pensions once again – after PrimeMinister Mariano Rajoy craftily promisedto hike them, when they had beenreduced by the previous Socialistadministration, to win the retiree votelast year. Earlier in the day, FinanceMinister Cristóbal Montero said that thegovernment was studying a measure toextend public employees’ workdays; inother words, depending how you look atit, more time on the job for the same payor salary cuts by extending the workingweek. After he was elected, Rajoy had alsopledged not to raise taxes, especially VAT;cut public workers’ salaries; and deniedthat Spain would have to seek aid for itsailing banks. Nothing the prime ministerhas said this year has stuck.

Then we come to the Bankiascandal. The Partido Popular (PP)has been adamant to keep the

investigation into the reported €23 billionin losses at the troubled lender out ofCongress despite a growing number of

criminal and civil complaints being filedagainst Bankia’s board of directors. Butnow the High Court has stepped in andsubpoenaed 33 current and former boardmembers to testify as official targets of aninvestigation into possible swindling andfalsification of documents regardingBankia’s prospectus issued last year thatattracted hundreds of thousands ofinvestors before the bank was listed onthe Spanish stock market. The complainthad been filed by the opposition UPyDparty, which has been demanding a fullinquiry in Congress after some 347,000investors lost money – in some casestheir entire life savings – during theinvestment drive. Among those beingcalled are former chairman Rodrigo Rato, who was pressured into resigning in Maywhen the Bank of Spain stepped in. Rato(better known among the El País English-language journalists by the anglicisationof his name, "Roderick Rat") is aninfluential PP member with strongconnections to the current government.Cabinet members last week played downthe 49-page order issued by JudgeFernando Andreu naming Rato andformer Interior Minister Ángel Acebes, who served on the board of Bankia’sparent company Banco Financiero y deAhorros (BFA), as official suspects in thecase. The Bankia scandal – which hasbeen making international headlinesowing to the fact that Rato once served asgeneral director at the IMF – and thesubsequent inquiry will no doubt shedmore light on the true state of health ofSpain’s banks and the politicking andbickering among the parties whichhelped drive a host of lenders into theground. Even though all the parties hadtheir hand in the mixing bowl, includingthe unions which also appointedrepresentatives to the boards of savingsbanks, the conclusions and possiblecriminal charges coming out of theinvestigation will be an internationalembarrassment to the government thatis currently on watch.

Destructive as they are, hurricanesare nature’s way of cleaning upchaos and clutter left by other

forces. We can only hope that the HighCourt’s inquiry will prove to be asweeping cyclone loaded with a couple oftyphoons and tsunamis. Of course, therewill always be Rajoy on the sidelinesputting his spin on things, blaming theprevious Socialist government and tryingto pull the wool over our eyes. ButBrussels will also be on the other side ofthe pitch telling him otherwise.

Mijas - Capital of AndablusiaThe 2012 annual Mijas BluesFestival lived up to allexpectations last weekendwith an excellent turn outon all three nights. Saturdaynight predictably pulled thebiggest crowd of theweekend, blues fans literallypacking the plaza from oneside to the other. The laidback atmosphere wascomplimented by anexceptional cross section ofreally rich, high qualityblues.

The last minutecancellation by MaggieRoss, on doctors orders, wasa bit of a disappointment.Maggie a veteran of thefestival for several years isquite a favourite of theMijas festival fans who

undoubtedly wish her well. The much publicisedperformance of DwayneDopsie and the ZydecoHellraisers was alsocancelled, their reasons fordoing so are as yet stillunknown, but apart from afew raised eyebrows and aphilosophical shrug or two,it did little to dampen theevent.

On the other hand, theunannounced arrival ofLittle Victor from MemphisTennessee was a real treat. The sometimes quirky butalways talented Victorseamlessly jumped in at thelast minute to fill the emptyslot, with Wes Weston andthe Bluesonics providing theequally last minute musical

muscle for his performance.Victor pictured here withWes Weston and guitaristPaul Garner put on a greatshow. True blue, blues menit seems know no

boundarieswhen itcomes tohaving agood timeandrespondingto a call forassistance.

KevinHillier andthe MijasTown HallForeignResidents

Department who organisedthe festival and the MijasCouncillor for thatdepartment Mario Bravo, are reported as being morethan delighted with theevent and have described itas the best yet, with a terrificresponse locally, nationally, even internationally.Councillor Bravo –obviously a blues fan –equally enjoyed the musicso we'll take that as a yes forthe 2013 Mijas Blues Festivalnext July!

Dates and informationwill be available beforehandat www.mijasbluesfestival.com or from the town hall952 589 010.

“Andablusia” is the catchphrase of the Los AndablusesBand from Sevilla who also puta great show.

Cats have many reasonsto soil a house.

House soiling (urinating, defecating and sprayingoutside of the litter box) isthe most commonbehavioural problemreported by cat ownersand is a major cause forcats to be abandoned orundergo euthanasia. Todetermine why a catsuddenly stops using itslitter box requires time, some investigative skillsand perseverance.

Why would a cateliminate outside the litterbox?

Contrary to popularbelief, mother cats do notteach their kittens to uselitter. Kittens dig and useclean, loose material forelimination at four weeksof age without everobserving the motherusing the material. Also, one must never assumethat the fact a cat has

eliminated outside of thelitter box because he wasseeking revenge makeslogical sense. In truth, catsprobably don't have thecognitive ability to cometo this conclusion.Furthermore, thisassumption presumesthat cats view urine orfeces as distasteful anddisgusting. In reality, humans may view themas yucky but to cats theyare simple modes ofcommunicating withother cats.

Barry HandsIt is with sadness that AgeConcern has to announcethat Barry Hands, whohelped set up AgeConcern, Estepona andManilva, some 10 years agohas died.

Barry was in his early80’s and had returned tolive in the United Kingdoma few years ago. He hadbeen ill for some time butwas back in Spain earlier

Barry was very wellknown along the coast andall who knew him willremember him withfondness. He, and Iris, hiswife, worked tirelessly forAge Concern when theywere living here.

Condolences have beenpassed on to Iris and to thefamily.

There are increasingnumbers of animal crueltycases and people whocome across them oftendon't know how to make anofficial complaint(denuncia) to the police.Seprona, theenvironmental arm of theGuardia Civil, has given thethis set of guidelines onwhat to do.There are laws to protect

animals from cruelty. Theycannot complain whenthey need food or water, orshade from the sun or rain,or have been tied up on ashort chain and thenforgotten. But we can speak for

them. This is what to do:1. Go to your local Civil

Guard base (Guardia CivilCuartel). Neither the localpolice nor the NationalPolice handle complaints

of this kind.2. Take as much written

information with you asyou can. Names, addressesand a map showing wherethe animal is will helpofficers to easily investigateyour complaint. 3. If you don’t speak

Spanish, get someone whodoes to go with you orcontact your local animalwelfare society for help orinformation. 4. The Guardia Civil will

give you a copy of thedenuncia, and their copywill be given to Seprona forinvestigation.5. Only Seprona will

investigate. 6. Keep your copy of the

denuncia, with thisdocument. The incidentcan be followed up later.

After her first novel – TheMagpie – was publishedlocal authoress J. G.Harlond fully intended thather next book wouldcontinue the adventures ofits roguish hero Leo, set inthe 1940s. However fate – in the

shape of a somewhatsupernatural experience –took a hand and she wasdiverted into the 17thcentury to write aboutanother “not all good, notall bad” character shenamed Ludo (Ludovico). The Chosen Man tells

the story of the great TulipBubble scandal wheninnocent people wereconned into buying bulbswith the promise of greatwealth to come(speculation in the futuresmarket is no way confinedto modern times), selling –and losing – everythingthey owned in the process. In the background too is ahive of political intrigue, machinations in theVatican and aspirations ofSpanish conquest, withLudo playing a doublegame to his own advantage. J.G. Harlond, who lives

in Coin, introduced hernew book at a launch partyat which she told the gueststhat she is now a full-timeauthor with her next novelalready in the pipeline. TheChosen Man, published byKnox Robinson is availablefrom booksellers or you canorder it on line fromAmazon in book or Kindleformat.

Clearly inspired by JohnCarpenter’s Escape fromNew York as well asborrowing a significantplot element from its L.A.-set sequel, the film takesplace in the year 2079. Itbegins with its hero, Snow(Guy Pearce) – one nameis much cooler than twoin this sort of film –gettingbeaten to a pulp by agovernment agent (aglowering Peter Stormare)while responding to eachblow with an insouciantwisecrack.

It seems that Snow, aformer agent himself, hasbeen falsely accused of acrime and is about to besent off to begin a 30-yearsentence at MS-1, amaximum-security prisonin outer space. But when

the hundreds of convictssuddenly wake up fromtheir cryogenic state andtake hostages, includingthe president’s daughterEmilie (Maggie Grace),Snow is offered hisfreedom in return for asolo rescue mission.

DVD NEW RELEASE

BEING FLYNNRelease date: July, 2012

DVD NEW RELEASE

A young writer, coping withaddiction, finally meets thedrunk, delusional father henever knew at the homelessshelter where the writerworks. That’s theimprobable truth at the coreof Being Flynn, the unevenbut undeniably powerfulfilm from writer anddirector Paul Weitz.

Based on Nick Flynn’s2004 memoir, AnotherBullshit Night in Suck City(great title), Being Flynn is afilm that aches withsadness. Paul Dano excelsas Nick, the budding writer, poet and playwright whodrifts through his twentiesuntil he takes a job at theNew York homeless shelterthat employs his girlfriend,Denise (Olivia Thirlby).Seeing his father, Jonathan

(Robert De Niro), lining upfor the shelter is a jolt.Jonathan is a writer too, claiming to be on par withJ.D. Salinger and MarkTwain. He unearths long-buried memories of Nick’schildhood and his troubledmother, Jody (the ever-superb Julianne Moore).

Ice Age: Continental DriftThis week one of our

readers wrote in andsuggested I reviewed a fewof her picks. Of the five onthe list I´ve decided toreview “The Best ExoticMarigold Hotel”. Thereason I never wrote aboutthis film before is becauseI didn´t think it deserved areview – however, I willreview whatever you folkswant me to. Thus said, I willgive you my honestopinion, so please do notbe offended, I speak thetruth as I see it. In a nutshell “The Best ExoticMarigold Hotel” wasn´tthat great, it was ok. Hereis why:

It was predictable, slightlyboring and over long.

Don´t get me wrong, it hada brilliant cast, and thedialogue was rather quirky,I didn´t dislike the film. However, here I amcounting the amount ofwords I need to fill thiscolumn – 360 andcounting – and I´m stuck. There was nothing thatepic about the film worthwriting about, it was likeevery British movie, polite.

Marigold is entertainingin a very British sort of

way – it's characters are alla little repressed and classridden to start with but bythe end have discoveredsomething more aboutthemselves. It has a charmto it but is let down by aflaccid script, and weakdirection – and a generalsense of unease that this issome sort of post-colonialwish fulfillment – so weend up with a film thatwants to be both a dramaand a drama comedy andby doing so lacks all biteand spice.

It is a perfect airplanemovie, you can sit back

and relax and enjoy it, butit really has almost nothing

meaningful to say – this isnot necessarily a bad thing–- as a light frothy pieceabout retirement as anadventure it is all ratherjolly, and the cast do bringverve and energy to it, itjust seems to meander andwander and it would bekind to say the charactersare essentially caricatureswho, even with somebackstory, are never morethan wispy at best.

And perhaps this is thecharm, Marigold is

escapism, and a chance tofantasize about what lifemight be like. All in all, itwill appeal to those wholike their comedy safe andenjoy a fanciful tale wellspun, but it is toolightweight to be anythingother than instantlyforgettable.

There are people whothink that films

influence people. I do notbelieve that – just becauseyou watch “Friday the 13th”doesn´t mean you´regoing to run around andstart murdering teenagers(no matter how tempting). If you have a good set ofvalues and know rightfrom wrong, you won´t beinfluenced by any film(because you´re betterthan that). Which bringsme to my final point ofwhy I didn´t “love” theMarigold Hotel. When JudiDench applies for the job,all I kept thinking was:“you´re not allowed to dothat, you need a work visa”– this made me angry.

The fact is, if people areinfluenced by films,

there are far more peopletrying to be like JudiDench and work illegally, than Jason the slasher!

All thoseaspirations that you had shelved are now back on the table for you to pick up again.Confront what must be tackled and leave all that has run its use behind, your strongimagination will help you to find the answers, and solutions but in order to giveyourself the greatest head start it is essential you allow yourself time to have funand play, this is where you will find sudden inspiration.

You haven’t had many choices or options coming your way for quite some timeand now it has all changed as things are developing at an accelerated pace. Knowing you Virgo you already have plan A,B and C on the backburner should you need to spring into action. Health beautyNews - Breakthroughs - Treatments - Trends&

lYoung people do getarthritisArthritis can affect people atany age, including duringchildhood. In fact, nearly60% of people diagnosed areunder age 65. Osteoarthritis, one of the most commontypes, typically affectspeople over 40, but it canhappen sooner, especially ifyou've had a joint injury.Another common form, rheumatoid arthritis, is anautoimmune condition thatlaunches a full-body attack, and it can strike as early asyour 20s and 30s.

lRheumatoid arthritis isn’tthe most common type ofarthritisThere are more than 100different types of arthritis, but osteoarthritis is themost common. Inosteoarthritis, cartilage – theslippery tissue that protectsthe ends of your bones inthe joint – gradually wearsdown. You might notice thatyour knees feel achier thanusual after you work out, orthat you feel stiff when youclimb out of bed in themorning. No one knowsexactly what causes this

cartilage breakdown, but acombination of factors likeaging, joint injuries, genetictendencies, and obesity areall thought to play a role.Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)occurs when antibodies inthe immune system –whichnormally work to fend offgerms – attack the lining ofyour joints, causing pain, swelling, and warmth, andlimiting your mobility.Research shows that thenumber of women with RAis on the rise.

lBeing overweight maycause osteoarthritisCarrying around extrapounds increases stress onthe joints, which may lead toarthritis of the knees. Thegood news is, you don'thave to lose a lot to make adifference. When you walk, your knees absorb a forceequal to about three timesyour body weight. So losingjust 10 pounds actuallyrelieves each knee of abouta 30-pound load with everystride you take.

lArthritis doesn’t alwayshave symptomsThe first stages of

osteoarthritis may be silent;mild cartilage damagetypically has no symptoms.Arthritis is most likely toshow up in hands andweight-bearing joints, including the knees, hips, spine, lower back, neck, andend joints of the fingers. Butit's only when there issignificant cartilage loss thatyou'll notice real pain andloss of joint function. Unlikeosteoarthritis, which affectsprimarily the hips andknees, RA tends to attack thehands and feet. If you haveRA, your painful joints willbe red and warm. RA maycause fever and flu-likesymptoms, too. RA tends toalternate between periodsof remission (when youhave no or few symptoms)and flares (when the diseaseis active).

lRegular exercise may helpwith arthritis flare-upsIf you want to reduce pain, take fewer medications, improve your flexibility, andavoid joint replacementsurgery, you have toexercise, the experts say. Most types of moderate,low-impact exercise are

helpful, but expertsespecially recommendstrength-training, waterworkouts and stretching. Ifyou find walking toouncomfortable, swimmingis a good option because itdoesn't put as muchpressure on your knees. Infact, one recent study foundthat people with arthritis intheir knees or hips who didwater exercises for six weeksreported less joint pain andbetter overall quality of life.

lWearing gloves can soothestiff handsIf you wake up with stiff, swollen hands, considerwearing gloves to bed.Swelling can occur whenbody fluids resettle at night. The experts recommendsnug-fitting, stretchy gloves.

lNatural remedies can be aseffective as prescriptionmedsPills can offer some relieffrom arthritis, but naturalcures have a bigger payoff inthe long run. The mostcommon pain reliefprescribed for arthritis isnonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or

NSAIDS, which can causebleeding ulcers. The expertssuggest trying acombination of twocartilage-building nutrientsknown as glucosaminesulfate andmethylsulfonylmethane, orMSM. Taking 750 milligramsof glucosamine sulfate twotimes a day for at least sixweeks relieves pain andheals joints by building upthe cartilage that protectsthe ends of bones so theydon't run together. Foroptimum results, takeglucosamine with 400milligrams of MSM threetimes a day, which mayslash inflammatorychemicals called cytokineslinked with arthritis pain.

lFood can help easearthritis painEating foods known to fightinflammation, a symptomof both rheumatoid arthritisand osteoarthritis, may easepain, they experts say, andrecommend that yourweekly diet include severalservings of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fattyacids from foods such aswild Alaskan salmon and

other cold-water fish, freshly ground flaxseed,omega-3-fortified eggs, andwalnuts. Season meals withginger and turmeric as oftenas possible; these spicesappear to possess anti-inflammatory properties. You may have heard thatcertain vegetables, such astomatoes, potatoes, peppers, and aubergines, can worsenarthritis pain, but there islittle good scientific evidenceto support this theory. However, two ingredientsknown to trigger inflammationare polyunsaturatedvegetable oils (such as cornand soy oils) and thepartially hydrogenated oilsfound in many margarines, vegetable shortenings, andprocessed foods.

Some things you may not know about arthritis

You probably already knowthat going for a swim within30 minutes of eating asandwich isn't going to causeyou to cramp up and sinkhelplessly to the bottom ofthe pool. But there’s plentymore lame summertimeadvice that you might stillbelieve. Let’s set the recordstraight.

lPeeing on a jellyfish stingwill ease the pain.Though it may soundconvenient, urine hasn't beenproven to curb the hurt. Whathas is vinegar – its acidity isbelieved to inactivate thestingers and diminish thepain. Soak a paper towel inhousehold white vinegar andhold it on the wound forabout 30 minutes. Afterward, use an OTC hydrocortisonecream to quell any itching. If,however, you start to feeldizzy or nauseated or develop

any kind of rash, you may behaving an allergic reactionand should get yourself to adoctor right away.

lGoing in and out of air-conditioned buildings canmake you sick.If you feel congested or startsniffling, it's likely due tosummer allergies, the expertssay. People who have allergieseven small sensitivities –maybe affected when movingfrom a clean-air environmentinto one that's full of MotherNature's irritants. If yoursymptoms are on overdrive, try staying inside on very hot, humid days, when outdoorallergens are at their mostpotent. And keep your homedust and mould free bycleaning your AC filter everymonth or by investing in anair purifier that eliminates99% of airbornecontaminants.

lThe safest place to be duringa lightning storm is in a carbecause it has rubber tyres. You'll be safe in a car, but notbecause of the rubber tires. The car's frame is like a metalcage – if struck, lightning willflow around its outside.(Metal is a good conductor ofelectricity; rubber is not.) Ifyou're driving in a storm, don't touch metal doorhandles or the radio, which iswired to the outside antenna.

lFlip-flops are kind to yourfeet. Most flip-flops don't haveadequate arch support, cushioning, or shockabsorption and wearingthem all summer, everysummer could lead topinched foot nerves, heelpain, tendonitis, and strainedarches. If you can't quit flopsentirely, buy ones that have atleast a three-quarter-inch

semi cushioned sole andbuilt-in arch support. Evenbetter, go for a strappy sandal;simple thongs force your toesinto an unhealthy clenchedposition when you walk, encouraging hammertoegrowth.

lA dip in the pool can dodouble duty as a shower. Most people don't rinse offbefore they go swimming sothe chemicals in personal-care products, sweat, andmakeup can interfere withchlorine, making it much lesseffective. The result is thatpublic pools are oftenswarming with nasties suchas cryptosporidium, whichcan bring on diarrhoea, earinfections, and skin rashes.Showering after a dip canwash bacteria off your skinand cut your risk of gettingsick. Use soap – a quick hose-off may not be enough.

Yet another mud bathfollowed music fans intothe T In The Park festivalat Balado, near Kinross,Scotland this weekend.

Crowds of 85,000 soakedup the music for three

days, partying their waythrough the rain-soakedfestival with bands suchas The Stone Roses, SnowPatrol, Simple Minds, TheHappy Mondays, Elbow,Calvin Harris, and NickiMinaj, plus violinistNicola Benedetti – whoperformed the firstclassical music at the

event – to name but a fewof the dozens whoperformed there.

Festival director GeoffEllis said: "The weatherdefinitely brought somechallenges but we wereprepared and our teamworked extremely hard tokeep things on track, which was no mean feat. The overwhelmingresponse from those thatwere here was that, regardless of the rain, theyhad an absolutelyamazing time, whetherthey saw Simple Minds orCalvin Harris. That's notjust down to a brilliantline-up – it's also due tothe enormous amount ofplanning that weundertake and the strongpartnerships we have withemergency services and

stewards. The sense ofcamaraderie was obviousthroughout the day butwhen the Stone Rosestook to the stage it wentoff the scale. This was themoment that so manypeople were waiting forand the fans sang theirhearts out. It wasamazing."

Superintendent RickDunkerley, eventcommander, said: "I thinkit's fair to say that theconditions have beenchallenging for them butthey have refused to letanything dampen theirenthusiasm. Theirattitude has been terrificand has ensured that weare all enjoying anotherexcellent T in the Parkfestival.”

In astronomy, youoften hear thephrase ‘light years’being used. A lightyear is the distancethat a beam of lighttravelling at 300,000kilometres persecond would travelin one year. It is anunimaginabledistance of aboutnine and a halftrillion kilometres. Now I don’t knowabout you but I can’timagine what nineand a half trillion kilometres looks like!

So, to make it a bit easier to imagine, itwould be better to shrink the solarsystem down to a more manageable size.So let’s make the Sun a ball three metresin diameter and place it in Fuengirolacentre on the sea front, directly behindthe statue that is there. If you have somefree time you may like to try this yourself.

Now if you start to walk in the directionof Los Boliches go 125 metres to just

outside the children’s playground areaand here would be the first planet,Mercury a ball 10mm across, about thesize of a marble. This is almost 60 millionkm in real life. Carry on walking 233metres to outside Bogart’s bar and findVenus, 26mm or just over one inch indiameter.

Keep going until you reach the LondonBar directly opposite the taxi rank at322 metres from the Sun is Earth about27mm in size. You would now be 150million km or 93 million miles from theSun.

It’s been easy up to here but now youneed your best hiking boots. Next stopis Mars 490 meters from the Sun next tothe children’s carousel ride. Mars wouldbe only 14.5mm in size.

It’s a bit of a trek now until you come tothe Yaramar Hotel 1677 metres from theSun and here would be the giant planetJupiter 300mm (about 1 foot) in diameter. The distance to each planet from the Sunvery nearly doubles as you move furtherout, each being almost twice as far as theone before. So it wouldn’t surprise you tofind that you have to walk 3075meters,almost two miles to Saturn at the OceanView restaurant at the junction toTorreblanca. Although Saturn is slightlysmaller than Jupiter, with the rings addedit is almost 400mm about 17inchesacross.

Jump in the car and head out towardsBenelmadena and when you get to theelephant roundabout at the HolidayVillage complex you would find a croquetball about 100mm in size, this is theplanet Uranus. Head on out toBenelmadena harbour nine and a halfkilometres or six miles from the Sun, andhere is the last of the true planets,Neptune, a ball just slightly smaller thanUranus.

If you want to keep going then you haveto pass Torremolinos, and come to theend of the runway at Malaga airport andhere there would be a tiny ball 7mmacross and this is Pluto. On this scale, thenearest star to the Sun, Alpha Centauri, would be 87000 km or 54000 miles, that’stwice the distance around the Earth!

The Apollo rockets that went to theMoon were travelling at 27,000mphand took about four days to reach theMoon. In 1977 NASA launched Voyager 1on a grand tour of the outer planets.Voyager 1 is travelling at almost 40,000mph, which is about 10 miles per second;it reached Jupiter in March 1979 andSaturn in November 1980. Last month,June 2012, NASA announced that Voyager1 had officially left the Solar System 34years and 10 months after launch.Voyager 1 is not heading towards anyparticular star but in about 40,000 years itwill pass very close to a star that is only 17light years away from us.

So I’m afraid that unless we invent theStarship Enterprise from Star Trek thatcan travel at warp speed then travel byhumans to the outer planets anddefinitely travel to the stars is going to bea very long journey indeed.

Happy stargazing!

Mrs J Hollowell Arroyo de la Miel

Jane Newman Coin

Philip Holman Mijas Costa

Yet another burglary occuredin the Coin area last week andthis time they hit a charity.Sue from the horse rescuecharity SEARCH found thather tack room with all theanimals bridles, saddles etchad been broken into and thelot had gone. There was anEnglish saddle, a small ponysaddle, bridles andheadcollars. These are peopletrying to do good work herehelping out horses and poniesthat have been abandonedand mistreated and this iswhat they get for their troubles. It is believed the thieves arethree men in a white van andwhile one of them isdistracting dogs or otheranimals, the other two arebreaking into your property. However, to every cloud thereis a silver lining and Coinresidents Jackie and HaroldRice came to the rescue withsome equipment they had

spare – a bridle, headcollarsetc, and also gave them adonation. Everybody isstruggling to survive at themoment but these two kindpeople pulled out all the stopsto help Sue and her colleaguesat SEARCH at a verydistressing time and theywould like to say a huge“THANK YOU!” to them both.

In the meantime, please, everybody, if you see a car, vanor any vehicle in your area thatyou don’t recognise or think itdoesn’t belong where it is,make a note of the date, timeand a short description of thevehicle and people inside.Better still, take a photo onyour phone or camera! Thesepeople have to be stopped. Also, make a note of all theserial numbers of the electricalgoods in your home and do ageneral inventory as thesepeople are taking everything.

It’s good to do this anyway andupdate it from time-to-timefor insurance purposes, takephoto’s of each room in yourhouse so you can prove whatwas in there too and, if theworst comes to the worst, thepolice may be able to trackyour belongings and get themback to you in this way.

Also, if you are offered, or seeanything that might belong toSEARCH in the markets etc, letthem or the police know. CallSue on 660 220 700 ASAP.

Some weeks ago you featureda small article on two youngladies – I think they callthemselves “Divalicious” –who entertain all along thecoast here. I read all theEnglish newspapers andnever see them advertisedanywhere.I had the sheer good goodfortune to see and hear themon St. George’s Day inMezquita Square. They werebrilliant and I wish to find outmore.Do you know if they haveproduced a DVD, or even aCD, and if possible where one

could be obtained? Anyinformation would be muchappreciated. Thank you.We always find your papervery interesting, although Ido find the codeword puzzlehard to read as the numbersare so tiny. (I have to keepnicking my husband’smagnifying glass!)Good luck to your futuresuccess.

Editor says: It’s a shame youdidn’t put your phone numberor email address on your letterdelivered by post as Divaliciouswere appearing at El Mojito in

Carihuela, Torremolinos lastSunday but there was no way tocontact you to let you know so, Ihope you noticed it was on theiradvert in The News last week. That being said, I have called therestaurant and they will getDivalicious to leave a DVD or CDif they have one so that you canpurchase it from there. As far as the Codeword puzzle isconcerned, we made thenumbers bigger a couple ofweeks ago so I hope you cannow give your husband back hisglass, poor chap!

I got a really interesting email last week asking me toexplain the size of our solar system, so I thought aboutputting it all in scale and I came up with some veryinteresting numbers.

I have read a lot about the newprescription rates forpensioners from 1st July 2012.However nowhere seems clearregarding the situation forBritish ex-pat pensioners, mebeing one who needs repeatprescriptions for the rest of mylife.

I was led to believe that Spainis reimbursed by the UKGovernment for these costsand it is unclear if we shouldbe charged if we are residentswith the health card, NIE, andPadron etc.

I have emailed the BritishConsul in Malaga but as yethave not had a response. Areyou able to clarify things forthe many hundreds in thesame situation?

Editor says: As I understand it thisnew rule will be bringing the Brits, and any other EuropeanPassport holders in line with theSpanish who already pay a smallamount towards any drugs theyneed. However, we will beclarifying matters in respect ofthis in the near future as there aremoves afoot to excludeAndalucia from these charges. Asusual, it is all up in the air at themoment but as soon as we findout a definitive answer we willpublish our findings and let youknow what is happening.

Webber wins British GPAustralian Mark Webberwon an exciting BritishGrand Prix at Silverstone, where for most of the racehe had followed the raceleader Fernando Alonso.Alonso showed once

again that he is going to bethe driver you have to beatif you want to win thedriver’s championship.Only let down by thestrategy of using the softoption tyre for the finalstint, Alonso drove amagnificent race but at theend had to settle forsecond behind Webber. While the two

McLaren’s of Button andHamilton struggled forpace, Lotus duo Romain Grosjean and Kimi

Raikkonen were flying, and, even though he hadto pit early due to acoming together with PaulDe Resta, Grosjeanfinished just behind histeam mate in sixth place.Pastor Maldonado was

handed a reprimand andfine following his comingtogether with Sergio Perez.Perez had called for the

FIA to take action after theincident, branding the

Williams driver a 'danger'and warning that unlesssomething is done to teachthe Venezuelan a lesson,'someone may get hurt'.Maldonado unsurprisingly, saw things differently andhe insisted that he had justlost the rear of the car, andthat it was 'just racing' Thestewards, however, didn'tsee it as a racing incident, hence the reprimand and10,000 Euro fine. There was trouble too

for Kamui Kobayashi whowas also fined after hebadly misjudged his entryinto the Sauber pit boxduring the final round ofstops and ended upbowling over several of hismechanics. He will have topay €25,000 for hisindiscretion. No one wasseriously injured.

Giggs named asTeam GB captainWelsh winger Ryan Giggswill captain Britain'sfootball team at theLondon Olympics. The 38-year-old, is

oldest of the three over-ageplayers allowed in the 18-man squad, and is takingpart in his firstinternational tournament. He will captain the side forthe first time when theyplay Brazil in a warm-up atMiddlesbrough on July20th."He has been a fantastic

professional over the yearsand he was the standoutcandidate in a group thathas got Aaron Ramsey theWales captain, and Micah Richards who hascaptained Manchester City,

and one or two othercandidates," said Pearce."He’s got the respect of

the group and the dressingroom – I sense that straightaway – and he’s got therespect of me and mycoaching staff.

Giggs's trophy-ladencareer at United includes12 Premier League titlesand two ChampionsLeagues.

The first real climb of theTour saw Team Sky enjoytheir finest day so far as ChrisFroome claimed aspectacular win on stageseven of the Tour de Franceand Bradley Wiggins finishedthird to move into theleader's yellow jersey. The team set a ferocious

pace up the climb. Thepeloton soon split, and whenPorte took over thepacesetting the front grouphad been whittled down tojust eight riders. And it wassoon down to five withreigning champion CadelEvans (BMC Racing),Vincenzo Nibali (Liquigas-

Cannondale) and ReinTaaramae (Cofidis) the onlyriders able to stay withFroome and Wiggins. It wasFroome now doing all thework, and when AustralianEvans accelerated away withone kilometre to go Froome,Wiggins and Nibali wentwith him. This was the steepest part

of the climb and they were allout of their saddles, Froomethen somehow found theenergy to overtake Evans andsprint for the line for astunning first Tour stage winwhich also netted him thepolka dot jersey for leadingthe mountains classification.Wiggins is only the fifth

Briton to don the maillotjaune, following TomSimpson (1962), ChrisBoardman (1994, 1997 and1998), Sean Yates (1994) andDavid Millar (2000). He hasnow held the leader's jerseyin all three Grand Tours.

Wiggins retained theoverall lead the next day asFrench youngster ThibautPinot took off on his own towin stage eight. Wigginsrepelled late attacks from hismain rivals Vincenzo Nibaliand Cadel Evans, the 2011winner, on the descent intoPorrentruy to remain inyellow. The trio finishedtogether, in a bunch 26seconds behind 22-year-oldPinot.Stage nine on Monday

saw Bradley Wiggins extendhis lead in the Tour de Francecompleting the demandingindividual time trial on a hillystage nine course in 51minutes and 24 seconds, beating Team Sky team-mate Chris Froome intosecond place by 35 seconds. It was Wiggins’s first everstage victory in the world’sgreatest cycling race.Defending champion

Cadel Evans, who started the

Donald Trump wasyesterday branded a“bullyboy billionaire” whohas turned one of Scotland’smost environmentallyimportant stretches ofcoastline into an “alienlandscape” as he flew intoAberdeen for the grandopening of the “world’sgreatest golf course”.The opening comes as

“You’ve Been Trumped”begins playing in U.K. movietheatres. The film criticisesthe way Trump, 66,bulldozed the wishes ofneighbouring landowners

to build the course amongsand dunes on the 1,400-acre (567 hectares) MenieEstate 10 miles (16kilometres) north ofAberdeen on Scotland’snortheast coast. The Scottish Wildlife

Trust is calling on Ryder Cupcaptain Colin Montgomerieand other top golfers takingpart in today’s openingceremony to boycott thoseholes built on the former siteof special scientific interestat the tycoon’s Menie Estatein Aberdeenshire.

And Patrick Harvie, theleader of the Scottish GreenParty, launched anastonishing tirade againstTrump, backing the charity’scall and claiming that thebillionaire businessman hasbeen at the centre of a sagawhich had been a“monumentalembarrassment forScotland and itsgovernments”.

Protest group TrippingUp Trump is also likely tostage a demonstration.Spokeswoman Sue Edwardssaid: “No doubt the new golfcourse and its surroundingswill all shine like a new pinfor the opening. Trump willhave his perfect golf course, and everything that doesn’tsuit his style is convenientlyhidden.”

Mr Trump, who is beingaccompanied on his visit byhis two sons, Donald Juniorand Eric, and daughterIvanka, brushed aside thecriticisms after flying intoScotland on board hisprivate Boeing 747 jet.

He said: “We havetremendous popularity. Thegovernment did a greatfavour to Scotland whenthey approved it. We’ve builtwhat many people considerthe greatest golf courseanywhere in the world – I’mvery proud of that.”

Mr Trump is expected tobe joined by Montgomerieand two other leadingScottish golfers, Paul Lawrieand Martin Laird, at today’sopening ceremony.

Tennis fans turned up to Centre Court expecting history to be made. But It was RogerFederer rather than Andy Murray who once again ripped apart the record books. Itwasn’t to be a first British winner in over 74 years, instead Federer became only thethird player to amass seven Wimbledon titles, as he drew level with Pete Sampras andWilliam Renshaw, and earned his17th Grand Slam title overall. And so “Braveheart”Andy Murray must wait again, maybe the US Open will be his first grand slam title...

Has Murray finally endeared himself to British fans?Sports
