Creative and stylish interior design projects launched The Myers Touchfrom their Winchester base in 2003, but it soon became evident that thekitchen, with its natural place at the heart of the home, was to be themain focus.

In 2009 iconic German manufacturer SieMatic invited The Myers Touchto become a UK design partner. Partnerships with other industry leadingbrands were subsequently forged including Wolf, SubZero and Gaggenau.

Industry recognition evolved, with awards from ‘Designer Magazine’and coverage in national home style magazines. In 2011 The MyersTouch was shortlisted as a finalist for the Designer of The Year Awardin the prestigious Kitchen Bedroom and Bathroom Industry awards.

Excellence through partnership is a key element of the company’sapproach to design.

When SieMatic unveiled its handle-less 6006 range in 1960 itbecame the most popular kitchen of its time. Its streamlined appearancehas been the starting point for all contemporary kitchen design since.

As the decades have passed, SieMatic has continued to push theboundaries of kitchen design and redefine the kitchen as a living space.In 2008 the quest to integrate technical precision within intuitiveusefulness resulted in the launch of the S1 range.

This range became the first winner of the Microsoft WPF ClientInnovation Award in 2009 and was the only kitchen to receive thecoveted ‘Red Dot Award – best of best 2008’ by the Design Zentrumof North Rhine-Westphalia.

It is a credit to SieMatic that, while receiving awards for both designand innovation, it is the only top-end German kitchen manufacturer tohold the FSC Award for environmental standards.
