Dear Colleagues and Friends,

‘Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much...’ Helen Keller

We are pleased to invite you to the fifth major academic activity of this MOGS year - the second of our specialty MOGS Symposia.

The Multispecialty Symosium is being organized on December 11, 2011 at the ITC Grand Central. In line with this year’s philosophy of Reaching Out, it is an entire conference dedicated to creating awareness and updating our knowledge of advances in the co specialties we work with in our day to day practice to serve our patients the best we can.

This Clinical Practice Oriented Conference will be conducted in two concomitant sessions with specialty specific symposia. Sessions will address anesthesiology, cosmetology, neonatology, neurology, oncology and urology. The handpicked panelists in the two panel discussions will share a wealth of knowledge and experience on surgical problems and critical care in obstetrics.

The Inaugural MOGS Dr. RD Pandit Oration will be delivered by the eminent endocrinologist Dr. Nadeem Rais on Diabetes in Women – Current Concepts, Future Horizons. This new oration is MOGS’s tribute to Dr. RD Pandit, a remarkable individual - our most dedicated and sincere Past President and Past Trustee to whose monitoring of governance and mentoring and nurturing of generations of MOGS leadership we owe so much. The oration is open to all MOGS members.

Since the MOGS has been granted MMC Recognition for academic activities conducted, both the conference and the workshops will earn registered delegates credit hours for participation as will be assigned by the medical council.

The 110 members that have availed the One Time Registration for all MOGS conferences are entitled to participate in the Multispecialty Symposium while other members may opt for a combined registration of this meeting and the Annual Conference.

The Managing Council of MOGS continues its commitment to felicitate the exceptional individuals who have defined our professional lives and practice. At the Felicitation Ceremony at the inauguration of this conference we will pay our tribute to Dr. Ajit Mehta and Dr. SS Thakur. We request you to join in this felicitation.

We invite you to participate in a unique academic event – a veritable meeting of minds, knowledge, skills and specialties.
