Ciaté has graced us with their geniusyet again this Christmas in the formthe Sequin Manicure!

1) Clean your nails with remover on acotton pad, then file and shape them.

2) Coat all your nails with the glueprovided in the pack.

3) Next, work on each nail separately, apply a second coat of glue and dipyour nail directly into the glitter pot..

4) I suggest waiting for a few momentsfor the glue to set, then press down onyour nail to set the sequins into place.

5) Use the handy little brush to dust offloose glitter and using an orange stick, push the stray glitter into shape aroundthe edges of your nails. Add a top coatfor longevity.

That’s it! A fun, fast and easy way tocreate a stunning look to brighten upyour Christmas. Available soon at Selfridges.

A strong lip has become a reliable and familiar statement for A/Wand we haven’t been disappointed this year with it’s return for AW12.This time around choose a matt texture to stay on trend.

Here are a few of my favourites, and a take on an easier way to wearthe trend.

You could also try their ColourShine Butter Surge lipstick range, offering colours that fit right inthis season. The gel formula givesa glossy finish and a sheer tomoderate coverage. Great if yousuffer from dry, chapped lips.

Lipstick Love Affair......

Bold Beauty......

Something a bit softer......

If you’re happy to go to the extremethis winter try MAC’s Mattene lipstick in Eden Ruge-a bright blue red. This is bang on trend for texture andcolour and will leave you lookingglam for all your Christmas parties.

The Mattene range is limited totwo colours, so if you’re lookingfor a different shade from MAC,check out their lipstick range.Keep an eye out for Russian Red,Ruby Woo and Rocker too!

For something a bit easier to wearday to day, have a look at Clinique’ sChubby Sticks. They are availablein eight different shades that allowyou to wear a bold wash of colourwhile adding intense moisture toyour lips at the same time!

Lips....Make sure your lips are ready for intense colour by using Cliniques‘All About Lips’ to remove chapped skin. Add some moisturewith Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Creme and prime with MAC Prepand Prime for lips.

Next use Brick lip pencil from MAC to create a strong outline andfill the entire lip. Take a small lip brush and cover the liner with acoat of Russian Red, leaving you with the strongest look of theseason! Visit www.themakeuppage.com for the video tutorial.

Skin....Choose a foundation thatmatches your skin tone orgo one shade lighter toachieve the alabaster skineffect. I’ve used MAC Faceand Body foundation. Agood high street alternativeis Boots No7 Stay Perfect.

Eyes... An ideal way to enhance your peepers without going over the top is to use a cream eye shadow in a natural brown. Enhance the socket line and lash line. Add a touch of black mascara to finish. I’ve used Groundwork by MAC and Max Factors Xperience Volume Mascara.

Bare skin and geometric liner was anothertrend favoured on the runway for A/W12.

Make up artists favoured MAC’s BlacktrackFluidline and kohl pencil in Smolder tocreate a range of intriguing liner designs.

Everything from geometric shapes toalternative smokey eyes were seen acrossthe runways this season.

Here are a few of my favourite products torecreate this trend at home......

Blacktrack Fluidline from MACA firm favourite in most make up artists kits, Blacktrack is easy to use, stays on for hours and is rich in coal black pigment. It’s gel formula makes it simple to apply and easy to correct!

MAC’s kohl pencil in Smolder isstrongly pigmented and incrediblysmooth. Perfect for a smudgy lineror smoky eye this season.

Check out Wink from Barry M.A marker pen style eye liner makesit easy to create strong, sharpliner even if you don’t havea steady hand!

Graphic Eye Liner

Skin is kept beautifully minimalist, use a matt foundation where you need itand finish off with a high lighter on yourcheekbones and a touch of blush. TrySleek’s créme to powder foundation for aSmooth finish with medium to full coverage.

Lips are also kept perfectly natural, choose atinted lip balm close to the natural colour ofyour lips to add a healthy glow to the finishedlook. Try Make Up Academy Love Heart lipbalm in Sweet Kiss. At only £2 it’s a must have!

are the focus of this look, so spend time getting it right!Start off by sketching on the shape of your liner with a brown eyepencil, when it’s perfect go over it using your chosen black liner. Ihave used Blacktrack Fluidline and for extra depth and longevity Ihave gone over it with MAC’s Liquidlast Liner in Point Black whichadds a waterproof layer.

The Wanted-I Found You

What’s the deal.....as you can see Chloe was smouldering inthe video playing the lead love interest who isn’t quite who she firstappears to be! The vid was directed by Chris Maars Piliero, a lovelyAmerican who says things like ‘rad’ and ‘stoked’ very often, you’vegot to love it!

I created this look on Chloe using MAC Pro, you can see a videotutorial here www.themakeuppage.co.uk, so check it out for moredetail. I styled the hair for the video so there’s a little section onthat too.....

I recently worked on the music video forThe Wanted I Found You. I was thereto work on the lead girl and the cast.

I’m going to show you how to re-createthe make up look I did on Chloe whoplayed Nathan’s love interest in the vid...Lucky girl! Who’s jealous?!

Skin...Products: MAC- Face and Body foundation, Studio Finish Concealer, Prep and Prime loose powder, Fix Plus.

Top it off with Head Over Heels blush for a bright yettranslucent colour on the cheeks.

Lips...Products: Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, Topshop lip glaze in Dash.

After prepping your lips press the lip glaze into your lips using yourfinger to achieve a soft, moisturised look.
