Why Don’t We Have School October 12 - 14?

Early October brings a break for our families here at Zion. But what happens during the break? The staff

here at Zion will be attending the yearly Rocky Mountain District Professional Workers Conference in

Breckenridge. This yearly event brings together Lutheran School teachers and Pastors from the RMD for

teacher and pastor training. Teachers will have the opportunity to attend several sectionals focusing on

different topics and listen to keynote presenters.

Daycare During RMD Conference

October 12, 13, and 14th No School, Day Care will be open for those who are enrolled in day care and have

signed up for these dates by Monday October 3rd. Sign up lists are posted on the classroom sign in/out sheets,

if your student is not signed up by October 3rd they will not be allowed to attend during the break (this is for

staffing purposes). Sack lunches will also be needed.

Zion Lutheran Church & School has a new phone system in

place. The only change you will notice is upon calling the

school you will hear an automated voice directing you to

either the church, preschool/daycare, school office, or

accounting.

Please use the current school number of 303-659-3443. This

number is the same as before and will not

change.

PTL NEWS Yankee Candle Order Deadline is Monday, September 26th. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the gym floor. Please be sure forms are turned into the office by Monday, September

26. IMPORTANT: In order for your child/ren to participate in the duck promotion, they must turn in duck coupons by Friday, September 23. No ducks will be available after Friday.
