• I looked at a lot of food photography when starting this project but these images by Beth Galton and Charlotte Omnes really inspired me. I based my series on this style with everything being set up and intentional. I loved the simple black background and strong colours. They are wanting you to look at food in a different way which is what I am also trying to achieve.

Evaluation.

I am happy with this series as I felt it turned out exactly

how I had wanted it too. I wanted a very stylised looking

series and I feel I achieved this. Through simply adjusting

the exposure and contrast I achieved this look. I feel that

this series does tell a story and makes you think about how

we prepare, eat and share our food.

I enjoyed this project and feel like I am developing my

photographic style. I feel this project has made me look at

the concept of time in a different way.
