Dear my fellow CTL students,
Student exchange is for me to spend time away from myhome country and experience life different from mine.
I joined the institutional-level exchange programme in Sem A of 2002 at Lancaster University (UK). I must say that this exchange is such a precious opportunity for me to learn more about Linguistics, the British culture and even myself!
Living in a completely English-speaking environment,writing my first academic essay, talking with people in Englishall the time, seeing loads of sheeps and rabbits, making many

English friends, raising money for a local charity…... what I have never done before!!! There is no way to express all myexperiences and feelings in words actually because you have to“experience” it!
The next person who gains a lot in the exchange programmemay be…YOU!!! Grasp your opportunity!
