Mental Health Unwrapped:
a Luke 14 workshop for Churches
Resourcing the Church to Support Mental Wellness.
Mental illness impacts a significant proportion of the Australian community, but, despite efforts
to reduce its stigma, much of it remains hidden. How can churches become places where we all
can truly bring and be our whole selves, and find healing community? Workshop addresses this
issue pastorally and practically.
When: Saturday 6 May 2017
1.00pm–5.00pm
Where: Metford Community Baptist Church, 83 Chelmsford Drive, METFORD
Cost: $10 per person for materials - please pay on the day.

A reminder that a Service of Inductionofthe Reverend Peter Botha as the
Minister of the Word in Placement with the Congregation at Jesmond Park
Uniting Church, 15 Robert Street, will take place on Saturday 22 April 2017 at
2.00pm. As this is a service of worship conducted by The Hunter Presbytery,
members of Presbytery are encouraged to attend. For those in specified ministries, robing is
optional. All are welcome. Afternoon tea will follow.
