NB:

1. From the above table it can be observed that there is a tremendous increase in the number of Church school children in the

Presbytery both boys and the girls. There is also an increase in the number of the full members as well as the adherents.

2. Kindly take note that there was a typing error in the last year’s annual report in the column of full members. In Eastleigh Parish

we had added one thousand and Machakos outreach two thousand erroneously. We apologize for the same.

which creates a great challenge to our members.

2017 being an electioneering year has affected the Church bearing in mind that

most of our members are self-employed. Businesses have been adversely affected and this had a negative effect on our members tithing and offering.

This has affected our budgets in the effort of re-enforcing the security

8.4 FINANCIAL HURDLE

Due to economic instability there has been a dire shortage of funds such that it has

been difficult to undertake some of the planned projects 8.5 FAMILY INSTABILITY

Due to financial constraints, drug and substance abuse and domestic violence.

9.0 FUTURE PLANS.

The Presbytery of Nairobi Central has the following plans for its endeavor:

i) To come up with an income generating project

ii) To have more civic education for our members in order to enlighten them on the

essence of political stability/implications of political instability as well as

representation of the Church in both National and County Governments.

iii) Capitalize on evangelism and mission work to bring more souls to Christ who will

build the body of Christ instead of being involved in criminal activities.

iv) Holding more seminars on family unity and the benefits associated with it.

v) Completion of ongoing church projects
