FOUNDATION

The Hunar Foundation is a not for profit organization formed by a group of like minded Pakistanis who have worked closely with The Citizens Foundation movement to provide education to the underprivileged and needy children of Pakistan.

THF is registered under the Societies Act XXI, and was established in 2008.

NEW VOCATIONS INTRODUCED IN JULY’14

THF continually invests to enhance the training capabilities of itsinstructors to ensure that they are well qualified and up to datewith training techniques.

So far, 3 experts from the Senior Experten Service in Germanyhave visited THF to assess training and advise regarding teachingmethods and facilities.

Additionally, 4 instructors were sent to Australia for furthertraining. The cost of this amounted to USD 120,000.

THF WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

The first THF institute for women to commence operations in October 2014 in Delhi Colony, Clifton with the following trades:

Beauty TherapyHaircuttingHair colouring

The course duration is 12 weeks for each trade.

Like other THF institutes emphasis is given on IT, Communication & Life Skills to increase employability of the students.

ADMISSION PROCESS

Documents Required: Application form, which is available online as well as at our main office. Attested photocopies of the following documents are also to be attached to the application form and submitted before the due deadline:• Original Copy of trainee's CNIC/B-Form• Original Copy of trainee's Father/Guardian's CNIC• Original Copy of educational certificates• 01- Passport Size Photographs

• Copy of experience certificate (if any)

• Individualized job placement assistance.• Information on job opportunities available.• In class training in the preparation of resumes, covering

letters, interviewing skills.• Encouraging employers to come to THF's Technical

Institutes for job interview sessions.

HOW WILL THE THF HELP?

Admission Criteria:

• Trainee shall appear for awritten test and interview asnotified.

• Successful candidates shalldeposit the course fee prior tocommencement of classes.

• The admission office willconfirm the trainee'sadmission by issuing him/her aregistration/ID number.
