Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson start guessing theidentity of the owner of a cane that has been leftbehind at heir office by an unknown visitor.

Holmes predicts that the owner is James Mortimer, whojust in that moment walks in.

Mortimer explains the reason of his visit andreads a scroll that Sir Charles Baskervilles, hisbest friend, had written before his death. Thescroll recounts the myth of Hugo Baskerville.

Hugo was a wicked and violent man who fell in lovewith a peasant who avoided him.

One day Hugo and his friends kidnapped the young girland locked her up.

Despite being locked up she managed to escape soHugo sent the Hound after her.

The hounds did not act as expected and ended upripping and tearing Hugo to bits. Since then, theBaskervilles have been haunted by the hound.

Mortimer seeks advice in Holmes, so that the new owner, Sir Henry, doesn’t meet the same fate.

Mortimer and Sir Henry arrive at Sherlock’s housewith a threatening note advising him to leave themoor.

Sherlock and Watson discover that Sir Henry is being followed.

Sherlock finds the follower’s driver an askshim to answer questions in return of money

The persuer calles himself SherlomeHolmes

Sir Henry decides that he will go and live inthe old house, but as it is too dangerous togo alone, Watson will go with him whileSherlock stays in London.

They are welcomed to the house bythe butler Mr. Barrymore and his wife.

Dr Watson runs into the neighbour, MrStapleton and his sister, on his way back tothe house.

Stapleton’s sister warns him to go back toLondon for his own sake.

Watson, who is keeping an eye out, sendsSherlock letters about everything that goeson.

The night before, Watson discoversBarrymore, going into one the rooms andmysteriously signaling around a candlelightonto the moor.

The following night Watson and Sir Henrydecide to follow him.

Barrymore confeses that the signals are tocommunicate with his wife’s brother who isa fugitive and to whom he looks afterprovinding water and food.

Since Watson decides to keep the secret,Barrymore lets him out on another secretabout Sir Charles death.

The day of his death, Sir Charles, was waitingfor a lady whose innitial are L.L. That nightthey were supposed to meet on the moor.

Mrs Lyons confirms that she was going tomeet up with him but decided not to in theend.

Watson decides to go and talk with thefugitive but instead he find himself withSherlock.

Holmes had been hiding in the moor tomake people believe that he was still inLondon. This way, he could carry out theinvestigation from two different points ofview.

Holmes has discovered that the Sapleton’sare not siblings, that they are married.

Suddenly, they hear a loud scream and findthat the hound has killed the fugitive.

While having dinner Sherlock notices thedifferent pictures on the wall and thinks thatHugo looks just like Mr Stapleton, being inthat case a Baskerville.

To investigate a bit more Sherlock andWatson go and visit Mrs Lyons again. Thistime she tells them all the truth…

Sherlock and Watson hide outside MrStapleton’s house while he dinnes with SirHenry. On his way home, Sir Henry isattacked by the hound.

Holmes shoots the hound and killes theHound of the Baskervilles.

The next step is to go after Mr Stapleton, but heis no longer at home. The only person there isMrs Stapleton who is tied up and who has beenbrutely beated.

They know where he could be: at the moor. He isnowhere to be found, he must have beenswalloded by the swamp.

Sherlock ties up the looseends for Watson.
