Legs At the first stage of doing a sweep both knees, which are hinge joints, are flexed, then as you step forward and execute the sweep, one knee continues to remain flexed and the other then extends, there was Plantar flexion in the back foot. The bones used in the preparation and execution for the sweep are the tibia, fibula, femur and pelvis. The muscles used in a sweep are the quadriceps, the Tibialis anterior, soleus, gastrocnemius and the gluteals. When the front leg steps forward the gluteals are the antagonist and the quadriceps are the agonist, the back leg is the opposite, the quadriceps are the antagonist and the gluteals are the agonist.

ArmsAt the first stage of doing a sweep both elbows, which are hinge joints are flexed and the shoulders, which a ball and socket joints are adduction, the wrists, which are hinge joints, the front wrist begins flexed and then extended and the back begins extended and then becomes flexed. When you execute the sweep both elbows are then extended and the shoulders rotate around. The bones used in doing a sweep are humorous, ulna, radius, scapular and clavicle. The muscles used in a sweep are deltoids, pectorals, biceps and triceps. In both arms the pectorals is the agonist and the deltoids is the antagonist.

Torso At the first stage if doing a sweep the hips, which are ball and socket joints, are flexed, the font hip stays flexed while the back hip extends, the torso rotates around to execute the sweep. The bones used in doing sweep are the vertebrae and the pelvis, the muscles used in doing a sweep are the obliques, erector spinae and the abdominals.
