A new property has been purchased which is 58-60 Craster Road, Southerton. There are two stands with total land area measur-ing 6,587 square meters with various build-ings measuring 2,656 square meters.

A new entrance is underway for Westridge Primary School.

Donation of fridges to various orphanages and old age homes are made every month.

Financial Assistance is extended to members towards medical and education. (T & C Apply)

New "Thin Clients "

The aging Computers (CPU), have been replaced by new "Thin Clients" in the IT Department. This

will allow the computer teacher to monitor the work being done by the pupils through a Central Server.

This “state of the Art” technology in our IT Department will also benefit the pupils and will keep up

with the ever changing technology.

I-Board Training

The introduction of the I-boards in Zimbabwe has brought about hype in the teaching and educational sector, there is a lot of talk surrounding these boards and words such as "revolutionary" have been used to describe this new phenomenon that has hit the sector. Our staff members have had the great pleasure of being the pioneering group in Zimbabwe and southern Africa to be trained to use these boards and just that alone should raise some eyebrows, not only are we pioneering this project in Zimbabwe but we are now part of a program that is going continental.

FIFA WORLD CUP!!

CAREER AND LIFE SKILLS PROGRAMME All the form ones were participants of a successful course facilitated by Bridget Naik, a psychologist and counsellor by profession. The programme’s highlight was when all the form 1’s visited & donated goodies to St. Joseph's House for Boys 18+.

WESTRIDGE AMBASSADORS

Yollanda Chimbarami continues to raise the school’s flag through modelling

and Thamsanqa Moyo is taking it even higher through music.

Noel Mhlanga the former Head boy does it through academic prowess. He has

recently been awarded a scholarship to go and study in India at one of most

prestigious Institutions of Technology. We would like to wish him well and

sincerely hope that he will raise the flag even higher.

He also won the bronze medal for the 2013 Maths Olympiad run jointly by Old Mutual and The Maths Dept of UZ.
